RMSA organize “State Level Kala Utsav”

Chandigarh 06^th November:- RMSA U.T., Chandigarh today organized "State Level Kala Utsav" at GMSSS 8B, Chandigarh. 24 teams from different Govt. and Govt. aided schools participated on the theme "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" Abhiyan with great enthusiasm and fervour. As per the guidelines of NCERT 4-6 students can participate in any one discipline of visual art i.e. Painting, Drawing, Art and Craft and Sculpture. Deputy Director School Education –II Mrs. Saroj Mittal, Mission Co-ordinator SSA, Mrs. Alka Mehta, Principal GMSSS-16 Mrs. Anujit Kaur, Principal GMSSS-8B Mrs. Renu Puri and Pedagogy Co-ordinator Mrs. Rajni Mahajan were present during the function.

The competition was judged by Mrs. Purnima HOD Painting, Parmod Arya HOD Applied Art, Rajesh HOD Sculpture from Govt. College of Art Sec-10, Chandigarh. A beautiful endeavour to spread awareness on Safety & Protection of girl child was put forward by different participating teams. To encourage inclusion, special weightage was given to children with special needs.
