CCL Season 6 Returns to North India:HSIC Joins as Training and Knowledge Partner

Chandigarh 21st November:- Punjab De Sher co-owner Puneet Singh announced the return of the league to North India, with many more celebrities who have jacked up the excitement and appeal of the CCL. Punjab De Sher team co-owner Navraj Hans was delighted as he announced the inclusion of many more experienced, sporty and starry faces to the team with notable additions such as Harbhajan Singh Institute of Cricket (HSIC) as training and knowledge partner.

Turbanator  Harbhajan Singh held center stage at the launch announcement of the latest season of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) as the representative of the HSIC. HSIC has been conceptualised as a premium cricketing institution of excellence that will combine international standard infrastructure with top class training and professional training expertise from across the globe. It will impart a cutting edge in terms of training to Team Punjab De Sher. HSIC representative Harbhajan Singh mentioned that his academy has been visualised with the primary motive to promote the game and he is happy that Punjab de sher has raised the bar in CCL by tying up with a premier training institution. Puneet Singh reiterated how this move reinforces the serious commitment that CCL and Punjab De Sher have made to the promotion of the game in the right spirit.

The CCL season 6 matches to be held on Feb 6, 2016 promise to be an unforgettable event as stars and celebrities from the cinematic, sporting, entertainment and artistic firmament will converge on Chandigarh for the thrilling matches. The cold winter evening will be simmering with exhilaration as Bhojpuri Dabangs under the captainship of the popular Manoj Tiwari take onMumbai Heroes in the first match (2.30 pm-6.30 pm). Later the same evening, Punjab De Sher,captained by the dashing SonuSood, Punjab De Sher take on the Bengal Tigers. (7.00pm-11.00 pm)

Interacting with the press, the gamut of stars on the dais were all in a jubilant mood and were confident that their fitness, cricketing skills and stamina would all benefit immensely from the expertise and value inputs which HSIC brings to the table. With the inaugural match in March 2015 setting high standards of thrill, anticipation, fan favour and celebrity support, the February matches promise to be bigger, more exciting and more star studded than ever before.

The team members were palpably excited and enthusiastic about the league matches that will kick off in January with the first match taking place at Mumbai's Brabourne stadium between Punjab De Sher and Mumbai Heroes on January 23, 2016. All the players are greatly inspired by Navraj Hans exemplary knock and keen to emulate his success as he had bagged the Man of the Match trophy with an unforgettable 122 runs off just 54 balls in March this year at Sector 16 stadium this year. Yuvraj Hans and Gurpreet Ghuggi were also gung ho and promised that they, along with the other team members would continue to put his best foot forward literally and figuratively for theCCL and Punjab De Sher.

Sonu Sood, the dynamic captain of Punjab De Sher was all smiles at his team members' enthusiasm and Gurpreet Ghuggi and Yuvraj Hans reconfirmed their commitment to the team and to promoting fitness, sporting culture and sportsmanship spirit on and off the field, along with the rest of the team members of CCL.
