Blue Dart's Launches Two New Strategic Business Facilities in Jaipur

Chandigarh 27th October:- Blue Dart Express Ltd., South Asia's premier express air and integrated transportation and distribution company, today inaugurated a Central Processing Unit (CPU) and hub in two different parts of Jaipur.  Sukhwinder  Singh, Regional Head – North, Blue Dart Express Ltd. and Ketan Kulkarni, Head – Marketing, Corporate Communications and Sustainability, Blue Dart Express Ltd. inaugurated the two facilities located at New Aatish Market and at Sikar Road respectively. Rajasthan ranks number six in India on World Bank's 'Ease of Doing Business' index according to the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion's (DIPP) report on "Assessment of State Implementation of Business Reforms". Jaipur is home to several industries, SEZs and IT/ITeS parks. Along with Delhi and Agra, Jaipur forms the Golden Triangle of Indian tourism, hence the government has robust plans for investments in infrastructure and PPP projects in the pink city.

Commenting on the launch Sukhwinder Singh, Regional Head-North, Blue Dart Express Ltd. said that besides being the capital, Jaipur is the control point of Rajasthan. The city has been a focus area for the Government and has attracted good investment in various sectors. The opening of our facilities in Jaipur will support the growth of the city's economic activity as we offer high quality services and convenience to our customers.

Ketan Kulkarni, Head – Marketing, Corporate Communications and Sustainability, Blue Dart Express Ltd. added that the new facilities at Jaipur manifests Blue Dart's commitment to partner the city in its growth endeavours by providing superior logistics solutions to the businesses present here. Our plans to strengthen our footprint in Jaipur are in line with the company's strategic focus on the e-tailing industry which is projected to grow at 52% CAGR from 2014 to 2020. The sector has been witnessing phenomenal demand especially from emerging cities like Jaipur.

 The Sikar Road hub will also function as a Service Center (JVK) which delivers inbound load to Jaipur and to its adjoining areas. The Jaipur hub functions as an inbound as well as outbound station to Jaipur and the rest of Rajasthan. It acts as a facility for process distribution as well. The 28,000 square-foot hub is just ten kilometres away from the highway and functions for the entire state to enable faster connectivity to the rest of the country.
