“Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain” Star Cast Visit City

By 121 News

Chandigarh 10th October:- The on-screen banter and funny situations between the inimitable couples of &TV's "Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain" , Anita (Saumya Tandon) & Vibhuti Narayan (Asif Sheikh), Angoori Bhabhi (Shilpa Shinde) & Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitash Gaud) have kept viewers in splits making it one of the most watched and talked about shows on Television. Within a short span &TV's flagship show has garnered attention and enjoys immense popularity not just among the adults but also kids for its unmatched comedy and popular catch phrases like 'Sahi pakde hain', 'Hai Daya Ladoo Ke Bhaiiya', 'I Like It' amongst others.
The duo Saumya Tandon and Asif Sheikh took the fun of the show off screen and gave a taste of it to the viewers in Chandigarh recently when they visited the city to meet their fans. The two actors were as cute and charming as they are as the 'gori mem' Anita and her 'nitthala' husband Vibhuti.

The laugh riot "Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain" is about two neighbours Manmohan Tiwari and Vibhuti Narayan and their wives Angoori who is a housewife and Anita who is an ex-beauty queen of Kanpur. While Vibhuti acts as if he is a successful insurance agent but is actually an idler, Manmohan is a smalltime undergarments vendor who pretends to be a big businessman.
The show is about how the grass is greener on the other side for most married couples as Vibhuti and Manmohan are attracted to the Bhabhijis, the wives secretly want their respective husbands to be like the neighbour. The show has been attracting fans for its relatable plot, funny situations, the spicy exchange between the two men and Bhabhijis, and the stellar performances by the four actors - Rohitash Gaud, Shilpa Shinde, Saumya and Asif.

Saumya Tandon, who plays the suave Anita Vibhuti Mishra said that comedy is the most difficult genre. But she likes comedy. "Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain" presents life's day-to-day happenings in a lighter way. I am floored with the kind of love and support the show has garnered in this short period of time. It's amazing how the viewers are so responsive and has caught on to the lingo and now calls me Anita Bhabhi or Gori Mem.

Asif Sheikh, who essays the character of Anita's husband Vibhuti Narayan Mishra said that "Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain" is subtle and it is the outcome of simple day to day happenings between neighbours. I play the role of an obedient husband, who takes fancy to his neighbour's wife. The role is very different from anything I have played before. Everyone has been telling me how much they enjoy the show because of its unique flavour and one liner.

The story, although portrayed by these two families, living in adjacent houses, is more of you, me and my story, interspersed with human desires and aspirations. With its fresh content and never seen before characterizations the show is adding exponentially to its fan base. "Bhabi ji Ghar Par Hain" is bound to get you to relate with your friendly neighbours.
