Health Department Fix Rates for Dengue Tests Private Hospitals & Labs

Chandigarh 23^rd September:- The Malaria Wing OF Health Department U.T., Chandigarh in the wake of the recent outbreak of Dengue, has fixed uniform rates for Dengue tests of all private hospitals & laboratories under the jurisdiction of Chandigarh. The rate for Dengue tests by private hospitals and laboratories are fixed as: NSI Antigen Test: Rs. 600/-, Dengue Antibody Test: Rs. 600/- and Platelet count test: Rs. 50/-. The orders as sanctioned by Anurag Agarwal, Secretary Health, Chandigarh Administration would be into immediate effect and no laboratory or private hospital can charge an amount more than the one fixed by the Health Department.
