Adviser Inaugurates Online registration of evening OPD at GMSH-16

Chandigarh 02^nd September:- The Adviser to the Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh Vijay Dev, inaugurated online registration for evening OPD in the presence of Anurag Agarwal, Home Secretary-cum-Secretary Health, Chandigarh Administration and Dr. Vandana Gupta, Director Health Services, U.T., Chandigarh along with other health functionaries today in U.T. Secretariat, Sector 9, Chandigarh.

The evening OPD was started on 13^th August, 2015 in 5 specialties i.e. Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Gyane and Paediatrics. The evening OPD has facilitated the patients who were unable to avail the morning OPD services. Till date around 1700 patients have been attended in the evening OPDs by the Consultants namely (i) Dr. S. Bhardwaj, Medicine, (ii) Dr. D.K. Pathak, Orthopaedics, (iii) Dr. Arun Tayal, General Surgery, (iv) Dr. Jitender Kaur, Gyane and (v) Dr. Bachittar Singh, Paediatrics. Now the patients can seek the appointment for the evening hours of above-mentioned specialties online @ 5 patients per hour in each specialty on http://admser.chd.nic.in/gmshonline. This online facility can be used for first time registration as well as re-visit.
