MCM College Organize Freshers Day.

Chandigarh 05^th August:- In keeping up with the ideology of the college to cultivate diverse aspects of womanhood in the students and marking the termination of the unique induction program, MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organized the Freshers Day. The one of its kind induction program at MCM initiates the process of transformation of students into empowered individuals with a strong personality and character. While Havan Ceremony cultivates their spiritual side, Induction Day imbibes them into the righteous value system of the college. Similarly, the Fresher's Day imbeds in them the virtue of beauty and poise.

Through a plethora of enthralling activities and performances, the MCM DAV sorority welcomed the new members. The audience was captivated by the superlative cultural show. The most entertaining event was the Ms. Fresher's Contest. The contestants adorned the ramp with their elegance and charm Alisha was all smiles as she received the Ms. Fresher's title, flanking her were Gaurvi and Ujwal, the first and the second runners up respectively. Muskan Jain won the Ms. Charming Smile while the title of Ms. Beautiful Hair went to Devisha.

The chief guest at the occasion was Ms. Poonam Sharma, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh and the guest of honour was Mrs. Gurbax Rawat, Deputy Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh various other dignitaries also adorned the occasion as special guests.

Honourable principal Ms. Neena Dhawan welcomed the freshers. She said that beautifying and appreciating the beauty of women was a unique way of empowering her and MCM will continue to endeavor to infuse in its students the indispensable virtues that make a women complete.
