CONNECT Felicitates Winner of 'Papa Kehte Hain' Facebook Contest:Satnam Singh Wins 32” LED TV

Chandigarh 15^th July:- To recognize and appreciate fathers role in Child's life, Connect Broadband, hold a 'Papa Kehte Hain' Facebook Contest. Connect Broadband today announced the winner of contest. Satnam Singh from Patiala won the contest by getting maximum likes for his photograph and message shared on Connect Broadband Facebook page.  He was felicitated with 32" LED TV by Connect Broadband. Connect 'Papa Kehte Hain Contest' embraced the loving and caring spirit of a father/child relationship, and inspired people to share their own stories of this amazing bond. The Contest was organized in the month of June 2015 and reached more than 70,000 people through promotions on facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatsapp, emailers and other digital formats. Rules for participation were very simple. Participants posted a photograph with their father and few lines about the best things they have learnt from them. 

 Speaking about the initiative, Prem Ojha, Connect Broadband and Videocon Telecom said that Fathers' Day contest was organized to recognize and appreciate fathers and father figures, who have influenced our lives.  Connect Broadband consistently creates engagement opportunities through digital media for its customers and facebook followers. This Fathers' Day, we wanted our fans to share what inspires their greatest moments with their Fathers. The huge success of this contest, with the winner coming from a small village, signifies the crucial role that digital media plays in our lives today. He added that more than 7000 customers participated in this contest and winner's message got maximum numbers of likes. He mentioned that there were no such criteria to select the winner; the winner was selected only by maximum likes.

After winning the Contest Mr. Satnam said that while posting my photograph he didn't expect that he will win the contest but was confident that he will get some likes as for him bonding between him and Dad is the best. He is very excited to receive this award and he sincerely thanks Connect Broadband for giving him this opportunity of winning the prize. This LED TV is a gift for his father, who has always gone beyond his means while bringing us up. Satnam's father is an agriculturist from Bhul Majra village near Patiala.
