By 121 News

Chandigarh 21st June:- Artistes like Master Saleem, Gursharan Mann, Happy Raikoti etc, unveiled Couturier & owner of the label Jaamawar Minx (JM) Rupam K. Grewal's, latest Summer Collection-'Breeze'. Some pieces in the collection have been named quite innovatively. Names given to the attires are Coastal Breeze, Lacy Summer Breeze, Lily of the Valley, Jhumka Design etc.

Each piece of the eclectic collection has been made keeping the sweltering North Indian Summer in mind. The chic women wear comprises of Suits with either Palazzos or Straight Pants. To keep you feeling comfortable and attractive at the same time, fabrics have been carefully chosen to keep you cool & stylish. The collection has been developed using fibers like Tulle, French Chiffons, and Georgette & Crepe. There are hues of colours that are really appealing and certainly very different. Rupam's new line's USP certainly are the colors which are 'Very Summerish' and soothing to the eye. Colours like Citrus Bright, Aqua, Mint Green and shades of white from Ivory & Egg Shell can be seen in the range. While beating the heat has been well taken care of in the ensemble the pieces are quite attractive and just that element of glamour that JM is known for. The embroidery which focuses particularly on 'Aari work', beautiful laces used to finish garments and the fall of garment lend a striking look to the collection which make the same Beautiful & Impressive.

"I have paid a lot of attention to finishing of the garment. The cuts have been designed to make a lady wearing the same look slimmer. The dresses are suited well for semi formal, party and office wear too. The style and cut is Flowy — the 'Kurtas' particularly are long of ankle length."

The floral printing on pieces of the collection makes them a visual treat. It is noteworthy that Rupam has been instrumental in bringing the humble Patiala Salwar centre stage, by developing a stunning piece of creativity & design – the famed Jaamawar Minx Salwar.

Couturier Rupam Grewal also shared her take on "What's in" during Summer Weddings 2015 for the Bride. She said that as far as colors go, summer brides will look the best in – softer colours like fuchsia pink, coral & sweet pink. A summer bride can team up her lehenga with net or tulle duppatta for sure. She added that the trend looks good for flowy lehengas or outfits, minimum make up will be a good option as this will give a lighter look which will make the Bride look great this summer.
