Chandigarh 04th June:- Chandigarh Police arrested Tansir Alam of Village-Burail, Chandigarh near Light Point, of Sector-44/45, Chandigarh and recovered 1 KG and 100 Gram of Ganja from his possession. A Case FIR No. 283 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Further investigation is going on.
In another case of gambling, Chandigarh police arrested Surinder of milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh near Maintenance office, Sector-23, Chandigarh while playing satta and recovered cash Rs. 840/- from his possession. A Case FIR No. 183 U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Accused was later on bailed out. Further investigation is going on.
