Chandigarh 03rd June:- CGC landran IT students Ishant Raju, Nishant Raju and Rajat Saxena made innovative System and Method of Self Destructive Program on Piracy which is got registered for patent under Intellectual Property Right (IPR). This work enables the computer program to destroy itself immediately after getting pirated through any mean. It was carried out under the able guidance of Dr. Shashi Bhushan Head of Information Technology Department. Dr. B Pattnaik Director Principal.
Chairman CGC, Satnam Singh Sandhu and President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal applauded the work and hope that their innovation will inspire their peer to indulge in such creative innovation .They further added that IPR grants the author of an intellectual creation exclusive rights for exploiting and benefiting from their creation. However, these rights also called monopoly right which are limited in duration and geographical extent.
