Police Arrest a Person While Playing Satta

Chandigarh 18^th May:- Chandigarh police arrested Bhagwant Singh of VPO-Balongi, Distt-Mohali near Gurdial Singh Petrol Pump, Sector-22-A, Chandigarh while consuming liquor at public place. A Case FIR No. 164 U/S 68-1-14 Excise Act has been registered against him in PS-17, Chandigarh. Accused was later on bailed out. Further investigation is going on.   

 

In another case of gambling at public place, Chandigarh police arrested and registered a case against Intzar Ahmed of Gobindpura, MM, Chandigarh near Shitla Mata Mandir, MM, Chandigarh while playing satta and recovered cash Rs.1040/- from his possession. A Case FIR No. 269 U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Accused was later on bailed out. Further investigation is going on.
