Chandigarh 04th May:- Oakridge International School Organised Character Parade of various loved and favorite personality of students at its campus. Students attired in their favorite story character acted, behaved accordingly from Little Red Riding Hood to the Wimpy Kid, from Doremon to Princess Leila, From the Wicked Witch of the West to Elsa and shared dialogue of the same characters. They also comprehended the character by using various graphic Organizers and created character sketch. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable. Tiny tots showcased immense confidence and grace, and faced the audience without any inhibitions. Later, even teachers also participated and put on a show on the stage to boost the confidence and morale of the students.
While speaking at the moment Principal of school Ramanjit Ghuman said that students researched on the characters to find the details, positives and negative habits. Such events provide students learning in the best by doing. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.
