Chandigarh 05th May:- A unique fashion show for Moms & Kids, 'Mommy & Me' will be held on Mother's Day --10th May, at Hotel JW Marriot Chandigarh. This was announced by the Organisers of the event Ambro Group, Dance-Pe -Chance(DPC) Academy and Omika Creations. The event saw some mothers who are participating posing with their smartly turned out kids, what's more the mascot of Kids' Vitamins Major Gummi King too was present.
Roahan Kalra, Director, Ambro Group said that the registrations for the event are now open. Those mothers desirous of participating can do so under two categories – Ramp Walk with Kid and Ramp Walk without Kid.
Mrs. Jagdeep Kaur, Founder & Director of DPC said that due to an onslaught of television, social media, internet etc. the very loving & communicative relation, between mother & child; is getting diminished. So we thought of paying not just a tribute to Mothers on Mother's Day by organising the Ramp Walk with kids in tow, but also to build an everlasting bond between Mother & Child. Jagdeep Kaur added that as our social responsibility, we are giving a chance to kids of an NGO – Bachpan, which has professionals imparting free education to underprivileged kids; performing a play.
The event will not just see fashion walks by mothers and their kids but also a very pertinent Health Session by Max Hospital will be organised for expecting mothers. The unique aspect about this will be that even husbands will be told about the different problems a pregnant lady has to go thorough in the pre and post natal phase. What's more, experts from Kids' Vitamins manufacturer 'Gummi King' will also hold an awareness session about need for Vitamins for healthy growth of a child.
The event will be high on the fashion quotient as it will witness the glamourous launch of Omika Creation's latest summer collection for kids. Zaira Diamonds too will showcase its latest designs which will be donned by the beautiful participating moms.
Mrs. Veena Sachdeva, Director, Omika Creations mentioned that the event will be a classy & glamourous one. We have already got entries from not just tricity but places like Delhi, Jalandhar and Ludhiana too. We are not giving any crown to the participants as all Mothers are equal for us. Mothers have an innate ability to give and not ask for anything in return from their kids this is why we want to honour motherhood and all it stands for through the platform of Mommy & Me.
