School Students Visits Radio Station

Chandigarh 17th February:-Oakridge International School organised a trip to Radio station to satisfy   inquiries about the various forms of media of students. They met the various RJs and were taken on a tour to the Radio studio. Curious children inquired RJs different queries ranging from their schedules, the working, the call picking and the format behind the various on air shows and find out the hard work that goes behind the fun and joyful lines of the show.

Students were seemed amazed to see soundproof announcer's room. They even try to be radio jockey though offline. Then, students visited technical sections, where Engineers were busy in looking after number of machines to keep everything going over the air without a fault. This field visit gave the children a clever insight into how radio has now developed into a commercial infotainment means for the people. Students learned how radio ads, jingle and bumpers are made.

While speaking at the moment Principal Adi Lakshmi said that radio is the radiation which means wireless transmission which always influences the choices of people to make their thought process.
