Indo Global organize 12th Annual Sports Meet

Chandigarh 16^th February:- Indo Global Colleges celebrated its 12th Annual Sports meet with great zeal. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS, SSP, Mohali was the Chief Guest on the occasion.  After the inaugural function, The budding engineers, architects, managers and educationists all showed their skills on the field. Over 900 students out which more than 200 were girls competed in Athletics comprising of Races, Long Jump, High Jump, Javelin, Discuss Throw, Hurdles etc and in Games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis and Badminton. In all there were over 25 sporting events with each and every participant exhibiting their competitive skills with lot of vigor, stamina, speed, presence of mind and above all best of sportsman spirit.

There were also many fun games and fun activities like Race for Senior Faculty like Dean, Heads of Department and even the Directors like Chati Race, Spoon & Melon Race for Lady Faculty .

Akshay Manhas mechanical engineering was the best athlete of the year in boys and in girls Shiksha Gupta electronics was the best athlete in girls. Akshay Manhas from Mechanical won the First position in 400 meter, 200 Meter & 100 meters race. In the Girls segment Ruchika, ECE 4^th Sem & Shiksha, ECE, 8^th Sem secured first position in 100 and 200 meters. In Girls Cricket B.Ed win the trophy & also in basketball engineering girls win the trophy against Architecture.
