GSA Gives Warning Signage to the Administration

Mohali 16^th February:- Mohali based NGO Generation Saviour Association, gave 200 warning signage of "No smoking" to the administration for displaying at the polling station/polling booths. GSA volunteers today handed over these warning signages to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Poonam Deep Kaur. Earlier the letter from Election Commission, Punjab was issued on Feb 04, 2015, to all the Deputy Commissioners cum District Electoral Officer for displaying warning signage's at all the polling station/polling booths. According to the COTPA 2003, all the polling station comes under a public place. Additional Deputy Commissioner told the election commissioner's orders will be followed strictly and warning signage will be given along with the election kit to the polling in charge.
