Mohali 18th December:- To help miserably poor people who are shivering in the extreme cold and for whom this is the toughest part of the year as their survival itself is at stake, a Project Vastra Arpan 2014 has been commenced by Indo Global Colleges for the fifth consecutive year,which is duly supported by Videocon, Connect, Dabur. For this purpose More than 100 drop boxes have been placed across tri city in various Schools, educational institutions, banks, hosing colonies, shopping malls, gurudwaras and temples to facilitate the kind hearted citizens of Tri City to donate their old woollen clothes, toys etc. for the poor and needy people. Dabur, Videocon, Connect .My FM 94.3 has been supporting this cause along with Indo Global Colleges since the last four years. While speaking at the moment Neelam Singla Chairperson of Indo Global Colleges said that there is no surprise that students have already started receiving very good quantity of donations. According to her distribution will done to less privileged people and hopes to get support more than the previous years which will not only bring smile on the face of small children but also save people from exposure to cold. She further added such activities by youth propel them to contribute their mite to society by understanding the ground realities
