Doon International School Celebrates Christmas

Mohali 23rd December:-  Doon International School, Mohali wore a merry look on the juncture of Christmas celebrations in the school campus. The entire school was decorated with balloons, bells, booties, stars & a colossal Christmas tree etc.  with bland  of winter celebrations .The  students were dressed up like Mother Merry, father , King , santa Clasus, Christmas tree, snowman, Disney characters, Shepherds and Baby Jesus.

A very colorful cultural fiesta began with The First Christmas as English play depicting the birth of Jesus and the reason how and when the celebrations of Christmas started, was staged by the students of class II and was applauded  a lot by the guests. The people were enthralled by the tunes of traditional Carols sung by the tiny tots. Later, children danced to the tunes of jingle Bell Jungle Bell Jingle all the way…. An enormous Christmas tree was decorated in the school .The students were happy with the take away which they got from their teachers. The guest and the students were also served light refreshment.

The principal, Manjeet Madira appraised the efforts of the little ones as well as the teachers to welcome the festival. She wished Merry Christmas and very Happy and prosperous New Year to all the students and the staff.
