Chandigarh 01st November:- The Post Graduate Department of Economics of MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organized a guest lecture by Prof. S.L. Kansra from Department of Economics, Panjab University PU Chandigarh on Measures of Market Concentration. Prof. Kansra educated the students about various market structures and tools used to measure market concentration. The students from Post graduate as well as graduate classes attended the lecture which was followed by an interactive session with the expert. The students asked various questions relating to the effectiveness of various measure and interacted enthusiastically with Prof. Kansra. Prof. Kansra was all praises for the zeal and knowledge showcased by the students and motivated them to make the most of such diligent platforms that MCM provides them.
Principal of the college of Dr. Puneet Bedi appreciated the endeavor and said that opportunities such as these are imperative to all round development of the students and augmentation of their knowledge.
