Annual Sports Meet Concludes At Nav Bal Niketan School

Chandigarh 22^nd November:- A two-day sports meet was organized by Nav Bal Niketan School on its
campus. Day 1 began with Guard of Honour and march-past by the school band. Principal, Mrs Punam Mahajan gave a speech on the importance of sports. After the declaration of the sports meet open and oath ceremony, students of classes I and II gave a scintillating performance of dance and drill combined. Students of classes playway through 2^nd participated in various sporting activities ranging from sprints, to fun races like pomp-pomp race, cap race, frog race etc. held throughout   the day. On the second day, students of classes 5^th and 6th gave a dance presentation followed by drill. Martial Arts demonstration was given by students of higher classes. Students participated in fun and exciting sporting activities like sprints, balloon race, sack race, long jump, shotput, banana race etc. Guest of honour Dr Ajay Gupta gave away prizes to the winners.
