Chandigarh 07th September:- Prof. Y.K. Chawla, Director, PGIMER will inaugurate the "Immunopathology teaching website" on Monday 8th September, at 9.30 A.M. This website has been developed by the Department of Immunopathology under the aegis of DST-FIST level I (2009-14) wherein the department was committed to improve the teaching and research in the field of Immunopathology. As the subject is complex and intimidating the archived lectures of the department has been hoisted on an interactive website for students all over the country. The website is carrying lectures for B.Sc. MLT students. Ultimately it will be an easily accessible source of learning material from school children to DM Rheumatology/Immunology and Ph.D. students. The department hopes to develop cloud computing for which a proposal has been submitted to DST-FIST 2014. On the occasion of inauguration of its website and computation of DST FIST level I (2009-14), Prof. Sunil K. Arora will be felicitated for his many achievements as Head, Department of Translational & Regenerative Medicine, PI (EP), and mentoring large number of Ph. D. students & his publications in reputed journals which helped the department in many ways. The department is also felicitating technologists, office and supporting staff members for their outstanding contributions and thanking all their clinical collaborators.
