Mahant Community Condemns Shankracharya’s Comments on Sai Baba

Chandigarh 24^th June:- The Mahant community condemned the remarks of Jyotish Peeth, Shankracharya Swami Swaroopanand that the Hindus should no worship Sai Baba. The community members aid that they will carry out the protest against the Shankracharya if he does not take back his remarks on Sai Baba.

Tamanna Mahant, who is leading the community members against Shankracharya said that Sai Baba is a symbol of unity and is common for all people so Shankracharya should not hurt the religious sentiments of the people. She further said that India is democratic country and everyone has a right to worship his religion and belief so nobody has the right to interfere in it. Mahant Tamanna further said that the government should take action against Shankracharya. Tamanna added that  Shankracharya has the right to worship his religion but he has no right to stop others worshipping Sai Baba. While lambasting further on Shankracharya Mahant Tammana said that the Mahant community will start agitation against the Shankracharya and other self styled sects who try to misguide people and play with their religious sentiments. She said that the religious 'Gurus' should do work for the peace and try to bring harmony among all the religions rather making such nasty comments.
