Shemrock School Celebrates Mother’s Day:Mother's Walk on The Ramp

Mohali 10^th May:-- Shemrock senior secondary school, Mohali celebrated Mother'sDay today with zeal & zest. The fun packed programme was organised by the students of the junior section by giving vent to the overflowing love for their mothers .The programme started with a song and a dance performance by the children Later, English and Hindi play to pay tribute  to mother was also enacted . Besides, the tiny tots and their mothers enjoyed as well as set the ramp on fire by walking on it.

Various games were organised for mothers i.e. the musical chair, guessing rhymes and the jumbled words.  Cards were also made by tiny tots in their free style to express their love and affection for their mothers. While speaking on this occasion Principal Air Commander SK Sharma gave parenting tips for healthy nurturing of the child.

 The winner of the ramp walk was Ms. Ekta, 1st runners up was Ms. Preeti Khanna and 2nd runners up was Ms. Amrinder . Consolation Prizes were given to Ms. Gurpreet, Ms. Puneet and Ms. Suman.Other Titles i.e. Ms. Beautiful Hair title was awarded to Ms Levi,whereas  Ms.  Mesmerising Smile was  Ms. Sumit Chauhan, Ms Elegant Walk title was given to   Ms. Rekha and  Ms. Enchanting eyes was Ms. Deepti and Ms Glowing Skin was Ms. Meenakshi  .

Dr.Ritambhra Bhalla,MD Obstetrics &Gynaecology,Fortis Hospital also delivered an awareness talk on the problems faced by ladies at different stages due to the hormonal changes.
