Mohali 05th May:-- Oakridge International School organized a fresher party to welcome the newly admitted students. The auspicious day began with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding of Goddess. A cultural extravaganza was organized to mark this event.
The students staged various performances like dancing, singing ,skits, mono acting, group dance ,mimicking their favorite person, weaving magic with their words to entertain new comers and teachers .The energetic and enthusiastic show were Giddha & Bhangra .Later,Master and Miss Fresher were also selected among the participants.
Principal of the School Pranjala Dass welcomed the freshers & urged them to instil the values of inquisitiveness, toil, discipline, courage, altruism and patience in them. She further motivated them to remain committed to the path of truthfulness. She emphasized that there is no short cut to hard work to succeed professionally. She further added that Oakridge School not only imparts international level IBM pattern but also encourages students to take part in extracurricular activities and various indoor and outdoor sports for the overall development of the students.
