‘Videocon Connect Super Jodi’ Captivates The Audience

Chandigarh 21st April:-- Following the huge success of Videocon Connect Super Jodi last year, Connect Broadband, in collaboration with Videocon Telecom and Videocon D2H, kick started the Mega contest on Valentine's Day this year. A unique initiative to bring couples closer, 'Videocon Connect Super Jodi Contest', is a platform for hundreds of couples across Punjab to graciously celebrate love for their partners.  Packed with excitement and gusto, 14 couples from Mohali reignited their soulful chemistry with playful activities at Connect Broadband office in Mohali today.  The couples enthralled the audience with mesmerizing performances. The evening also saw captivating performances by Punjabi singer Sheron Deol. The couples were judged on the performances by an equally talented panel.

 The response to the Mega Contest saw encouraging responses where close to 50,000 people participated in the auditions held across Punjab. A total of 60 couples will compete on the city level, and fight for the glorious top 10 positions where the winning couples from each city will contend to win the coveted 'Videocon Super Jodi' winner title and will also take away the luxurious grand prize of a foreign trip.

 Designed to signify the 'CONNECTION' between two people, this is a unique platform for couples to showcase their compatibility and talent. This year the contest was conducted for young couples in the age group of 25 years to 35 years. Interesting and griping format of the contest has been conducted in key cities of Punjab, mainly Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Bhatinda, Patiala and Chandigarh. In these towns interested couples were selected from each city on the basis of their performance from local rounds. They are now performing in second round to compete against finalists in each city for a slot in the grand finale.

 Couples participated in these cities at auditions held at housing societies, shopping malls, clubs and offices. The couples were judged on the basis of their compatibility, unique talent and confidence. Two Couples were selected from each audition round through on-ground activities by a panel of judges for the next round. Grand Finale shall see couples chosen across Punjab participating in the final contest, competing against each other for the grand prize.
