CGC, Jhanjeri Organize National Conference On Innovations in Computer Science & Communication

Mohali 24th March:-- Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, organized a National Conference on Innovations in Computer Science & communication due to relevance of the subject. This conference was sponsored by PTU, Jalandhar. The conference received tremendous response from industry, research scholars, teachers and students. As such, a record number of 145 research papers were received in which a number of thought provoking ideas were discussed.

 Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh, Director, University Computer Centre, Punjabi University was the Chief Guest & the keynote speaker at the moment0 .While speaking at the moment he said that internet has become very important nowadays, almost each and every task has become very easy and time saving due to various achievements like bookings in railways, banking, e-governance etc. from the one click of mobile only.

 While speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that such conferences provide an appropriate platform for sharing the research work being done by a number of persons in various fields. Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General, CGC said that Computer Science & Communications are the two fastest growing fields. He further added that  Many problems in science, engineering, health care & business can be solved effectively with computers.
