Chandigarh 11th February:---- MCM College for Women organised Kala Abhivyakti-2014, an inter college Art fiesta. The event triggered the aesthetic instincts of budding artists via a plethora of creative contests such as landscape painting, still life drawing, pot painting, cartooning, file cover decoration, mural making, collage making, rangoli, pakkhi designing and painting and folk designs. Various colleges and schools from across the tricity partook in the scintillating expressing of Art. Dr Ravinder Sharma, HOD, History of Art, Govt College of Art, Sec-10 and Dr. Ishwar Dayal, Professor in Graphics, Govt College of Art, Sector – 10, chandigarh adjudicated the marvelous show.
The Principal of the college Dr. Puneet Bedi, appreciated the inventive endeavour and said that Art and Creativity are innate expressions of every human being and platforms such as this are liberating for our soul.
