BJP Launch 'Missed Call' on 8528-8528-00 Campaign: To Connect With BJP's Mission 272+

Chandigarh 18^th February:---- Taking a first-of-its kind initiative to connect with the people of Chandigarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a ‘Missed Call’ campaign for the city beautiful. The BJP, State President, Sanjay Tandon introduced the 10 digit number 8528-8528-00 and a call centre for smooth functioning of the campaign today at Mohali. The campaign is aimed at confirming people’s support to make Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India and to register with the mission of 272 plus seats in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections- 2014.

 Talking about Chandigarh’s Mass Connect through a ‘Missed Call’, Sanjay Tandon said, that to connect with BJP, people will have to give a missed call on the given 10-digit number. After his or her number gets registered, the caller will receive an automated message of ‘Thanks’. Then our volunteer from Yuva Morcha will get in touch with caller to get the basic details following the predefined format and he will also fix up the meeting at convenient time and place. Once the caller confirms the time to meet, our volunteer from the party will approach him or her with an informative kit. This will apprise the caller about BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s vision for brand India. Besides, party’s mission of securing 272 plus seats in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2014 will also be revealed. He added that besides, people will be asked to give their valuable suggestions for developing the nation and Chandigarh. To run this campaign, the team of volunteers of BJP’s Yuva Morcha has been trained to deal with people. Besides, the well-trained staff will manage back end operations at the call centre so that the duties get delegated strategically. The call centre will operate from 9 am to 6 pm. Tandon also added that the number has been on testing mode and has been registering more than 150 calls in a day. He also said that the team was expecting the number to go upto 5,000 within few weeks.    Every ‘Missed call’ will confirm support to the BJP’s ideology and to support in making Modi, the prime minister of India. Apart from this if the caller gives a positive response then he will be asked to give references of those people who want to support BJP’s Mission 272 plus. Through this campaign, those people will come forward who believe that only Modi has ability to develop this nation.
