Chandigarh 28th January:-- Gurukul Vidyapeeth has been associated with the welfare of students as well as the society through its various initiatives since its inception. “SANKALPA 2014” is a brain child of Gurukul Vidyapeeth; “Sankalpa 2014” is the India’s biggest Benchmarking Platform for students of Class 12th of Non Medical stream. Since, time immemorial Competition is the basis of success and survival. It is indeed India’s National Talent-O-Meter where talented students are assessed for selection of “Super 100”and would be given scholarships worth INR 700 Lacs.
While talking to the media Dr. S C Jain, Vice President Gurukul Vidyapeeth,informed about the “ SANKALPA-2014” (Scholarship & Talent Reward Test) is an aptitude cum bench-marking test to be conducted to reach out, spot, reward & nurture talented students across the country and support them in fulfilling their career aspirations. Further he added to this statement that, for a sincere & aspiring student, to put self in the lane of exciting challenges is a habit & way of life for a career conscious students and definitely “SANKALPA 2014” would prove to be a whole-some food for the hunger of challenge & success for such students. He further said that talent needs to be nurtured sincerely & smartly to deliver performance & excellence. The objective of a talent hunt examination should be to spot the talent, expose him/her to competition & bench-marking and put through the rigors of coaching & mentoring to create a winner. He also said, The idea behind 'SANKALPA 2014' is to give awake up call to the student & providing a platform to start working for the success he/she wants in his/her life. Dr. S C Jain, stated, that three modules will be provided to the students in which I modules of 1st and 2nd assignments will be provided before pre boards, IInd modules of 3rd and 4th assignments will be provided after pre board and IIIrd modules of 5th as well as 6th assignments will be provided before final exams. Further he said, these assignments are collection of very important questions for Non- Medical +2 students which will help students in board as well as in competition examination. Second phase includes a mock test each as well as of IIT main and Advance accomplished by a seminar of one hour for students as well as parents. He also provided the details of awards of “Sankalpa 2014” .There will be total 1500 awards for students, who participated in Sankalpa.
