Chandigarh Police Organise Traffic Awareness Program and Laughter & Cultural Night

Chandigarh 15th January: -- The Traffic Awareness Program and Laughter & Cultural night was organized at Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Bhawan, Chandigarh. by the Chandigarh Police, while celebrating The National Road Safety Week from 11th January to 17th January, 2014 and the theme of week is "When on the road, always say 'Pehle Aap'.

K. K. Sharma, IAS, Advisor to Administrator arrived as the Chief Guest at function. R. P. Upadhyay, IPS, IGP, Chandigarh paid the gratitude to the Chief Guest. H. K. Aggarwal, Session Judge, Satyagopal, Chairman Housing Board and Smt. Savita Bhatti w/o Late Sh. Jaspal Bhatti graced the function with their presence. Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill, IPS, SSP/UT, R. S. Ghumman, IPS, SSP/training & Operations and Maneesh Chaudhary, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security, UT, Chandigarh, Alok Kumar IPS, former DIG/UT with other senior officers and Traffic Marshalls were also present at the programme.  On this occasion the renowned artists "Mandakini" & "Amitabh" superstar of 'Indian Idol' and "Sunil Sawara" of the 'Laughter Challenge' gave their performance during the programme.

 K. K. Sharma, IAS, Advisor to Administrator, the Chief Guest at the function lauded the endeavor of Chandigarh Police to enhance Traffic awareness among the citizens and also honoured the 'Good Samaritans' & 'Traffic Marshalls' on this occasion.
