AIHM Organise Traffic Awareness Session For The Students

Chandigarh 20th November:--- Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition organised  a presentation on traffic awareness for the students in Institute Campus today. Approximately 250 students actively attended the session which was delivered by Gurnam Singh, Chief Coordinator Traffic Marshal, Chandigarh Administration, along with his team. The team briefed the students on the traffic rules & signals and also distributed pamphlets indicating the same for their reference.

The session sensitised the students on the importance and relevance of following the traffic rules for their safety while driving. They were shown a few clippings of the severe accidents that had occurred in the city due to the mere negligence on the part of the drivers. The necessity and significance of wearing the helmets and seatbelts properly was stressed upon to avoid the mishaps. Mrs. Bharti Tyagi, Principal stated that such interactions add to students experience and makes them sanguine for their lives. The students had a question and answer round with the officials at the end of the session and this was followed by a vote of thanks to the team.
