Indo Global College Pay Tribute To Le Corbusier

Mohali 10th October:-- Indo Global College of Architecture organized Corbu-Fest from to pay tribute to Le Corbusier, the legendary Le Corbusier of the 20th Century On the 125th Year of his birth anniversary, where competitions in Architectural Design, photography, study of Global Cities, Design of a future city and models of Iconic Buildings were prepared and exhibited. Students for various competitions were divided into four houses namely Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance and Romanesque, representing different periods of historical consequences in the realm of Art and Architecture. On the spot events i.e. 'Walk on the brick', 'Human Pyramid', Jewellery Design, 'Green Poster, Arm Painting, Mouth Painting, Creative Story Telling, Burning Paper, etc. were  also organized to test spontaneity of the students in various situations.

Suhkdev Kumar Singla, Chairman, Indo Global Education Foundation ,congratulated the students for their whole hearted  participation in various academic  & co-curricular activities and exhorted them to take inspiration from Le Corbusier, who  Architect Chandigarh in 20th century , transformed and revolutionized the architectural face of  North India. He further urged them to strive steadfastly for academic excellence and contribute for creating better built environment by designing environment friendly & energy efficient buildings. Ar. Anil S. Thakur, an eminent Architect & author was Chief Guest and   Dr. S.S.Bhatti, former Principal; Chandigarh College of Architecture was guest of honour.
