Mohali, 01st Sep:----- CGC Jhanjeri organized Three day Inter College table tennis Tournament of PTU at college campus. This Inter College table tennis competition was sponsored by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. This sports event got resounding response from various colleges of PTU. About 32 colleges and more than 100 students participated in this tournament. In Men's category, CGC Landran came first. RIMT-IET Mandi Gobinndgarh came second for second consecutive year & IET Bhaddal came third in the men's tournament. In Women's category IET Bhaddal came first,While Rayat & Bahra came second & CGC Gharuan came third in the women's tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal , President CGC said that in the present scenario, existence has become highly competitive , to be successful in life, one has to put emphasis not only as studies but also on sports and other co-curricular activities so that there is an overakk growth of one's personality.
