Education Department issue Charge Sheet to Four Teacher Leaders:Teachers will Protest Against Education Department

Chandigarh, 05^th September: --- Education Department has issued charge sheet to four teacher leaders to suppress the voice of the teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day. Where as a delegation of Joint Action Committee of teachers U.T. Chd. met with Education Secretary V.K.Singh on yesterday and submitted a memorandum of various demands of teachers including detail record of malpractices/corruption prevailing in the education department which includes no increasing school time.

Spokesperson of the JAC said that keeping in view the dialogue with education secretary and change in the timings of teachers day function the venue of the protest has been shifted to Masjid Ground sector 20, Chandigarh and all the teachers are requested to reach the Masjid Ground at 4 pm.on 05^th of September to lodge a strong protest.
