Chandigarh 22nd, August:--- The Medical Committee of MCM DAV Colllege for Women, Chandigarh organised an Awareness Lecture on Viral Hepatitis to support the Global Theme 2013 which is Hepatitis - Know it, Confront it.
Dr. Ajay Duseja, Associate Professor, Hepatology, PGI educated the students about viral hepatitis. He highlighted the causes, the preventive measures and the treatment options available for the dreaded disease. He emphasised that caution and care can go a long way in combatting the lethal disease. An overwhelming response from the students eager to update their knowledge on hepatitis was seen.
The Principal of the college Dr. Puneet Bedi appreciated the humane endeavor and said that knowledge and awareness of diseases and their prevention are imperative to ensure health for all.
