8 Persons arrested in Kurukshetra Murder Case

Chandigarh, 01st July: -- Haryana Police has arrested eight persons who were involved in a case of murder of Ajay, a resident of Mirzapur, district Kurukshetra.

        

While stating this today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that Mr. Dhanpat, a resident of Mirzapur had got a complaint  registered on May 12, 2013 that Balbir and Rajender, residents of the same area and others had murdered his son Ajay. He further said that during investigation the police arrested the main accused Rajender Kumar, Sushil alias Silli, a resident of Narkatari and Pradeep Singh, a resident of village Sanch district Kaithal from village Sanch whereas two other accused namely Ajmer Singh and Gaurav Kumar alias Gulshan Kumar, a resident of Koyar district Karnal were arrested from village Koyar. He said that three accused Harpal, a resident of village Pillu Khera, district Jind, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Alampur, district Kurukshetra and Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Padla, district Kaithal were also arrested.

        He said that during investigation it was found that Rajender Kumar and Sushil alias Silli had murdered Ajay. While, Harpal Singh had provided a country made pistol to Rajender, Pradeep Kumar had provided a country made pistol to Sushil  by accepting Rs 1000 with the help of Akshar, a resident of Mathana. Ajmer Singh, Gaurav alias Gulshan, Pradeep Singh and Rakesh Kumar were arrested for providing shelter, money and mobile phone to the accused. 

        During interrogation the main accused Rajender Kumar informed the police that about one year ago, Ajay had a brawl with Rajender and his family in which Rajender's uncle Balbir and family got injured. He said that in that incident, Ajay was main accused. Out of revenge, Rajender along with Sushil and his uncle Balbir had planned to murder Ajay and on May 11, 2013 night they murdered Ajay by firing at him.

        He said that two accused namely Balbir Singh, uncle of Rajender and his other uncle Dalbir, a resident of Tyontha had already been arrested and police also recovered the motorcycle from Dalbir which was used in committing this crime
