Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, celebrated 16th Annual Green Week in association with Hotel Hometel Chandigarh.Around 100 saplings of exotic & decorative tree species were planted under the theme of "CLEAN EARTH GREEN EARTH". The entire faculty, staff, officials from Hometel along with the students of AIHM Chandigarh actively participated in the event.
Mrs. Bharti Tyagi,Principal of AIHM Chandigarh said that "If you fail to conserve the trees, your efforts to plant them would not bear fruits. It is the conservation which is the need of the hour" She emphasized on the saying – "Each one Plant one" which essentially urges all human beings to plant atleast one tree in their lifetime.
Mr. Ravi Kumar, Sales and Marketing Head of the Hotel sensitized the students about the concerns and impact of environment on sustainable tourism.
