Parkash Singh Badal cut short his overseas visit meets rescued pilgrims at Chandigarh

Chandigarh, June 21: C M Punjab Parkash Singh Badal has cut short his overseas visit to take care of rescue operations at Hemkunt Sahib.He arrived at Chandigarh on Friday morning .Badal was scheduled to return to Chandigarh on June 23.Immediately after reaching Chandigarh he reviewed the arrangements of Punjab Govt to assist the rescue operations for pilgrims at Hemkunt Sahib in Uttrakhand . Badal met some of rescued pilgrims reached Chandigarh in the afternoon today.
It is also learnt that Badal was perturbed over the reports that the helicopter sent by Punjab Govt could not fly for one days due to some controversy arose between Crew and the Punjab Govt officers.
