Chandigarh,27th June: - A meeting of Roads Committee of Municipal Corporation was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sat Parkash Aggarwal and attended by other members of committee and concerned officers of Municipal Corporation. In the meeting different agendas were taken up for the upgrade of the roads of the City. The Committee accorded approval to following agenda items:
1. The members of road committee have decided at the higher level to
upgrade junction No. 10 by providing 6 vide paved path around the
junction to safeguard the junction, so that in case of accident, the
vehicle may not cross over to the junction. The committee accorded
approval to Rs. 3.97 lacs for the work first of its kind in Chandigarh.
2. Rough Cost Estimate for construction of cement concrete footpath in side park near plot No. 901 and 191 industrial area Ph-II, Chandigarh
at approximate cost of Rs. 22.31 lacs.
3. Rough cost estimate for construction of cement concrete footpath
inside park near House No. 785, 2307 and 3180 in sector 31, Chandigarh
at approximate cost of Rs. 19.33 lacs.
4. Rough Cost Estimate for construction of cement concrete pavement in
park near BSNL flats and toe wall below existing railing in parks of
sector 44 A, C &D, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 13.70 lacs.
5. Rough Cost estimate for construction of cement concrete pavement
passage as per approved drawings near electric sub station sector 44
D, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 5.62 lacs.
6. Rough Cost Estimate for construction of jogging track in green belt
sector 34 C, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 11.89 lacs.
7. Rough Cost Estimate for construction of jogging track in Topiary
park sector 35-A & B, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 9.02 lacs.
8. Rough Cost Estimate for providing and fixing 60mm thick paver
blocks in front of Shiv Tample in industrial area Ph-II, Chandigarh at
approximate cost of Rs. 1.13 lacs.
9. RCE for providing and fixing 40mm thick interlocking paver blocks
of parks in front of House No. 5205-5210, 5181-5186, 51-57-5162 and
5115-5120 in category-I in Modern Housing Complex, Manimajra,
Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 6.33 lacs.
10. Rough Cost Estimate for renovation of Harijan Dharmshala, Village
Badheri, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 8.30 lacs.
11. Rough Cost Estimate for providing and fixing flat railing on toe
wall in park near H.No. 371, 431-426 in milk colony, Dhanas,
Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 9.28 lacs.
12. Rough Cost Estimate for providing and fixing MS flat railing on
toe wall around open space infront of H.No. 3159-3187 in Housing Board
Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh at approximate cost of Rs. 13.31 lacs.
13. Rough Cost Estimate for widening of V-6 road and providing and
laying 25mm thick SDBC on parking of market in sector 38-C, Chandigarh
at approximate cost of Rs. 15.19 lacs.
