“Milking Robot” a Modern Technology shared with CGC Jhanjeri’s students

Mohali,12^thJune:--One of the modern technologies of"Milking Robot" explained to the students of Chandigarh Group of College,Jhanjeri Campus which has been designed by the students, under the guidance of their professor  of Fantys University,Netherlands to Milking the cows and buffaloes by robot not manually.Mr.Chris Vriens,co-coordinator from Fontys University, Netherlands along with his team Ms. Jamie Badde, Ms. Mirjana Van Doornmalen and Ms. Manon Vergoosen visited the Jhanjeri Campus.

While speaking at the moment Mr. Chris Vriens said that this will be helping hand even to small farmers to become entrepreneur in state like Punjanb.

Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said on this occasion that such visits are extremely useful for the mutual growth of staff and students where as they are informative and educative for the both sides.

Dr. G. D. Bansal, Director of CGC said that the rising cost of milk and milk products would be substantially reduced with the use of this robot by lowering the labor cost of milking and the idea of a robot for large farms to handle hundreds of cows quickly and efficiently will save farmers significant amounts of money and time as well.
