Chandigarh,18th June:The enforcement wing of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh in a special anti encroachment drive today removed encroachments from various markets of city and approximately 96 violaters have been issued challans.
During the course of drive the enforcement team removed encroachments from Shastri Market, Sector 22, sector 23, 45, 48 and Manimajra,Chandigarh. During the drive various unauthorized items including rehries, tables, stools, crates, pharies , Gas Bhatti, readymade garments, cylinders, folding beds and furniture items etc. Were removed and seized from the Municipal land. In addition to that Auto rikshaws and vehicles have also been seized from Manimajra. The drive was carried under the directions of Mr. Sunil Bhatia, Additional Commissioner and supervision of Kashmira Singh, Superintendent and all sub inspectors of Enforcement wing, MCC.
