Mayor inspects water supply pressure in sector 56 and Manimajra

Chandigarh,June 11^th:-Subhash Chawla, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Today Morning inspected the water supply pressure in residential area of
Sec.56. During the visit Mayor also visited the sites of tubewells installed by Municipal Corporation and took stock of the water supply pressure in the houses. He also visited the sites where the stand posts were provided by the MC and instructed the concerned officers to strengthen the water supply system in these areas. During afternoon, Mayor visited Manimajra area alongwith officers of B&R circle and took round in the streets of Govindpura and adjoining areas. He instructed that roads be carpeted in the area and tile work be done where required in the internal streets. He also took stock of drainage system.

He was accompanied by Mr. Satish Kainth, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Darshan Garg, area councilor & former Senior Deputy Mayor, Mr. B.K. Dhawan, Executive Engineer, MCPH-3 and concerned officials of MCC.
