Gurukul Vidyapeeth Signs MOU With Central Bank of India

Chandigarh,18^th June:--A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Gurukul Vidyapeeth and Central Bank of India on 18^th June 2013 Today at Chandigarh. With the signing of this MoU Gurukul Vidyapeeth pioneer among engineering institutes gets the Privilege-Client status with the Central Bank of India. The MoU was signed between Field General Manager Zonal Head Central Bank Of India Mr.K.K. Taneja and the Chairman cum CEO Gurukul Vidyapeeth Dr. Manmohan Kumar Garg in the presence of Senior Regional Manager Central Bank Dr.Mr.V.N. Pathak, AGM Branch Head (Corporate Branch sector 10 Panchkula) Central Bank Of India Mr.K.K.Tiwari .

Chairman cum CEO Dr.Manmohan Kumar Garg said that he is proud to be in partnership with such a progressive thinking bank. Both likeminded institutions together will aid the students to further their education and thereby their career and make a significant contribution to society and to the country. Dr. Garg further added that the institute will ensure placement for all the students after successful completion of their course to help them repay their loans. Gurukul Vidyapeeth will provide opportunities for the students to get part time jobs under 'Earn while Learn' programme. The aim of this MoU is to provide loan to the underprivileged and deserving students.

He congratulated the Chairman cum CEO Dr.Manmohan Kumar Garg for having the foresight in having introduced a bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering and  providing all the facilities to the students to expand their horizons and make a significant contribution to the society.He said he is happy to join hands with the institution in their endeavor.He further added that as soon as a student enrolls himself with the institution he becomes eligible for the education loan from the nearest branch of the Central Bank of India in his hometown.
