Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and family stranded enroute Hemkund Sahib: rescued by ITBP personnel

Early monsoon rains lashed several parts of Haryana, Uttarakhand and northern India and disrupted the Char Dham Yatra. Reports say that thousands of pilgrims were stranded enroute to Badrinath, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Yamunotri. Those stranded include cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his family who were reportedly halted due to the heavy rains. Harbhajan Singh and his family were stranded by landslides and incessant rains on their way to Hemkund Sahib. in Uttarakhand.

The cricketer's stranded family was rescued by ITBP personnel and taken to Joshimath camp.
