Chandigarh Business Council, Meet Finance Secretary & Deputy Commissioner: Demand NOC For Transaction in Industrial Leasehold Properties

Chandigarh,20^th June:-- : A deputation of Chandigarh Business Council, Today Met with Finance Secretary UT and Deputy Commissioner UT Chandigarh to apprise him about the problems being faced by Industrialists and others on the issue of NOC for properties transactions.

These Sr Officers were told about grievances of Traders who are not issued NOCs for transaction in LEASEHOLD TO LEASEHOLD properties in Industrial Area since last over 6 months without assigning any reason and the transactions between the parties suffers.  It may be mentioned here that the condition of Lock in period of 15 years has already been over since many years.  The Finance Secretary after being convinced assured to discuss this crucial issue with Estate Officer. While in meeting with Deputy Commissioner- cum -Estate Officer, the members informed about the NON ISSUE of NOC cases in Estate Office who promised to look into  and  help Traders
