Chandigarh 21st June:--Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today removed 12 unauthorized temporary sheds in Dadumajra village here.
The Enginerring and Enforcement wing team along with Staff of roads division No. 3, MC removed approximately 12 teen sheds constructed with bricks from the back side area of Dadumajra Market alongwith Public Toilet Block with the help of JCB machines and police force. The drive was carried peacefully under the directions of Mr. Sunil Bhatia, Additional
Commissioner and supervision of Kashmira Singh, Superintendent
Enforcement and other Sub Inspectors of Enforcement wing of Municipal
Corporation.
In addition to that the enforcement team challaned 82 violators in different area of the city including various sectors and part of Manimajra area etc. And seized rehari-pharies,tables,chairs,counters etc.from the encroachers. The enforcement team also removed and seized the water kiosks from sector 17 Plaza.
