Chandigarh, June 09, 2026:- To mark World Brain Tumour Day, Max Hospital, Mohali organized a talk to highlight the importance of recognising early warning signs of brain tumours and seeking timely medical attention.

During the occasion, hospital experts emphasized that increased awareness and early diagnosis can significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for patients.

Dr Sachin Bindal, neurosurgery consultant said that brain tumours can affect individuals of all ages and may present with symptoms that are often mistaken for common health issues. Persistent headaches, seizures, changes in vision, balance problems, weakness in limbs, speech difficulties, and unexplained behavioural changes should not be ignored, as they may indicate an underlying neurological condition.

Dr Sachin further said that many patients tend to overlook symptoms assuming they are caused by stress or fatigue.

However, persistent neurological symptoms warrant medical evaluation. Early diagnosis of brain tumours enables timely treatment and can significantly improve patient outcomes, he opined.

Dr. Sachin added that the advances in neurosurgery, imaging technologies, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches have transformed the management of brain tumours, enabling safer procedures and better recovery prospects for patients.
