Chandigarh, Jan.23, 2026:-चंडीगढ़ में आज बसंत पंचमी के दिन मौसम के मिजाज भी दिनभर बिगड़ते रहे। रात से ही एक तरफ़ तेज़ हवाओं का दौर चला तो दूसरी तरफ़ रात से ही लगातार बारिश भी होती रही । इस बिगड़ते मौसम में भी सीटीयू से निकाले गए आऊटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों का आज 45 वें दिन भी संघर्ष जारी रहा ।

सीटीयू कांट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन के चेयरमैन गुरविंदर सिंह ने हाल ही में डायरेक्टर ट्रांसपोर्ट प्रद्युम्न सिंह व‌ वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता संजय टंडन को नौकरी बहाली के मुद्दे पर  जल्द संज्ञान लेने की अपील की थी ।

सीटीयू कांट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन के प्रधान बलराज दहिया ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ प्रशासक गुलाब चंद कटारिया से भारतीय मजदूर संघ के बैनर तले हुई मीटिंग से लगभग 45 दिन से न्याय  के लिए इंतजार कर रहे आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों को कुछ उम्मीद बंधी है ।

इस बिगड़ते मौसम व बरसात में भी न्याय की पुकार कर रहे सीटीयू आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों का हौसला बरकरार रहा ।

सीटीयू कांट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन के प्रधान बलराज दहिया व चेयरमैन ने एक ओर भारतीय मजदूर संघ का इन गरीब कर्मचारियों का मुद्दा शासन तक पहुंचाने के लिए भारतीय मजदूर संघ के प्रधान बलविंदर सिंह व सीटीयू युनियन के जसवंत सिंह का धन्यवाद किया। दूसरी तरफ़ डायरेक्टर ट्रांसपोर्ट प्रद्युम्न सिंह व‌ वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता संजय टंडन से भी अपील की कि निकाले गए 300 आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों व उनके परिजनों को न्याय दिलाया जाए। 

सीटीयू कांट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स यूनियन ट्रांसपोर्ट  विभाग द्वारा लोकल रूटों पर‌ लगी 85 बसों के 15 साल पूरे होने उपरांत 142 आउटसोर्सिंग ड्राइवरों को आफ रुट करने तथा न‌ई इलेक्ट्रिक बसों के आगमन पर ड्यूटी न देने पर समर्थन में उतरे 158 टर्मिनेट किए गए व‌ कुल मिलाकर 300 आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों के लिए न्याय की मांग कर रहे हैं ।

रात भर से चल रहे तूफान व बारिश से जमीन गीली व तंबू उखड़ने से संघर्ष कर रहे कर्मचारियों को एक ट्राली में शरण लेने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा ।

किसान परिवारों से जुड़े आउटसोर्सिंग कर्मचारियों ने आज बसंत पंचमी के मौके पर फिर नौकरी बहाली के लिए शासन व प्रशासन से अपील की ।

Chandigarh, Jan.22, 2026:-अस्पतालों मे आई रक्त की कमी को पुरा करने के लिए शिवानन्द चौबे मेमोरियल चेरिटेबल ट्रस्ट द्वारा श्री सनातन धर्म सभा , सेक्टर 46 चंडीगढ के साथ मिलकर श्री राम लला प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की द्वितीय बर्षगांठ के शुभ अवसर पर श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर, सेक्टर 46 चंडीगढ मे पी.जी.आई. मेडिकल टीम की निगरानी मे 100वें रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें कुल 124 यूनिट रक्त एकत्रित हुआ ! इस रक्तदान शिविर में रक्तदाताओं की हौसला अफजाई के लिए एस.डी.कालेज के फाइनेंस सेक्रेटरी जितेंद्र भाटिया, सुशील सोबित, पंडित राहुल गोदियाल, मन्दिर कमेटी के समस्त पदाधिकारी गण, सेक्टर 46 गुरूद्वारा कमेटी के प्रधान कुलदीप सिहं एंव समस्त सदस्य गण, मार्केट कमेटी सेक्टर 46 के प्रधान बलविंदर सिहं और उनकी पुरी टीम, हिन्दू तख्त पंजाब और चंडीगढ की समस्त टीम, महेंद्र नाथ दूबे, मनीष दूबे, अशोक तिवारी, चन्द्रमा मिश्रा, राजेश मौर्य, धीरेन्द्र पाण्डेय, सुनील चहल, मनीषा, माधुरी पाण्डेय, गरवेश राणा, राकेश दूबे,  समेत तमाम गणमान्य लोग मौजूद रहे तथा ट्रस्ट द्वारा लगातार किए जा रहे इस नेक कार्य की सभी ने प्रशंसा की ।

संजय कुमार चौबे ने कहा की हर स्वस्थ्य ब्यक्ति को रक्तदान करना चाहिए क्योंकि रक्त का कोई दूसरा बिकल्प नहीं है और हमारा रक्तदान शिविर लगाने का मकसद भी उन मरीजों कि मदद करना है जिनकी रक्त कि कमी से जिंदगी कि डोर कमजोर पड़ जाती है ! शिविर को सफल बनाने के लिए संजय कुमार चौबे ने सभी सहयोगियों,  रक्तदाताओ, आये हुए सम्मानित अतिथिगणों तथा मेडिकल टीम का आभार ब्यक्त किया !

Trident Group Announces ₹1 Crore Research Sustainability Lab at SLIET Sangrur; Initiative Led by Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP

Chandigarh Jan.22, 2026:-Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Member of the Standing Committee on Labour, Textiles and Skill Development, and Chairman Emeritus of the Trident Group, today announced a ₹1 crore contribution for the establishment of a Research Sustainability Laboratory at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET). The initiative focuses on developing engineering solutions for mechanical and electrical/electronic system failures in industrial plants using real operational data from Trident manufacturing units.

The Research Sustainability Lab will support, Failure diagnosis and root‑cause analysis of machinery, Predictive maintenance frameworks using engineering and AI-driven tools, Data‑based reliability, modelling for electrical and electronic systems, Collaborative R&D projects between SLIET researchers and Trident technical teams. This new facility aims to strengthen India's capability in industrial problem-solving by enabling students and researchers to work with real datasets and create practical solutions for large-scale manufacturing environments.

The programme was organized under the leadership of Prof. Mani Kant Paswan, Director, SLIET, with support from Prof. Ravi Kant Mishra, Dean (Alumni & Industrial Relations), and Prof. Surinder Singh, Dean (Research & Consultancy). The institute emphasized that the initiative will enhance hands-on learning, real-world exposure, and research depth in mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineering.

Addressing the gathering, Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta emphasised the growing importance of engineering innovation, technical precision and data-driven decision-making in modern manufacturing. He said the new lab would help bridge the gap between academic research and real industrial challenges. He also announced that the Trident Group will offer placement opportunities to 100 meritorious SLIET students, with preference to those who are academically strong but economically disadvantaged. This support reflects the organisation's commitment to enabling talent without financial barriers.

Earlier, Director Prof. Paswan briefed the gathering on SLIET's ongoing initiatives in research, innovation, and skill development. The programme saw enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students, reaffirming the growing strength of industry–academia collaboration. The establishment of the Research Sustainability Lab marks a significant step towards advancing manufacturing reliability, improving technical skill development, and strengthening India's industrial competitiveness.

Chitkara University–University of Maryland Winter School Reimagines Sector 17, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Jan.22, 2026:-A 17-day Collaborative Winter School on Urban Redevelopment, jointly organised by the Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture at Chitkara University and the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at the University of Maryland, concluded with final student presentations proposing innovative strategies for revitalising Sector 17, Chandigarh.

 

Held from January 5, the 17 day intensive international design studio brought together 10 students from the University of Maryland and 12 students from Chitkara University. The programme focused on reimagining the future of Sector 17, Chandigarh through contemporary urban redevelopment approaches, and was conducted under the guidance of Ar. Surinder Bahga, Principal Architect, Saakaar Foundation.

 

During the final jury, students presented comprehensive proposals backed by in-depth site analysis, policy reviews, development frameworks, and financial feasibility assessments. Jury members commended the overall quality of work, noting that several proposals demonstrated strong potential to contribute meaningfully to the rejuvenation of Chandigarh's central business district.

 

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, said that this Winter School reflects our commitment to global academic collaboration and practice-oriented learning. अवैध प्रवेश व शिक्षकों को परेशान करने के मामले में शिक्षक यूनियन जॉइंट एक्शन कमेटी ऑफ टीचर्स ने की कड़ी आपत्ति, एफआईआर की मांग

Chandigarh, Jan.22, 2026:--जॉइंट एक्शन कमेटी ऑफ टीचर्स, यूटी चंडीगढ़ (पंजीकृत) ने गवर्नमेंट मॉडल सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, खुड्डा अलीशेर, चंडीगढ़ में 20/1/2026 को हुई एक गंभीर व चिंताजनक घटना पर कड़ा विरोध दर्ज कराया है।

दिनांक 20 जनवरी 2026 को कार्य समय के दौरान दो अज्ञात/संदिग्ध व्यक्ति बिना किसी वैध अनुमति के स्कूल परिसर में प्रवेश कर गए।उन्होंने स्वयं को चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन के वित्त सचिव की ओर से कार्यरत बताते हुए एक कथित शिकायत पत्र की प्रति दिखाई और उसके आधार पर स्कूल के आधिकारिक दस्तावेजों के सत्यापन की मांग करने लगे।उक्त व्यक्तियों ने न तो कोई प्राधिकरण पत्र दिखाया और न ही कोई पहचान पत्र अथवा न शिक्षा विभाग/किसी सक्षम प्राधिकारी की लिखित अनुमति प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने एक प्रतिबंधित सरकारी कार्यस्थल में अनधिकृत रूप से प्रवेश किया।

उन्होंने वित्त सचिव का नाम लेकर अतिथि/संविदा शिक्षकों से पूछताछ की तथा विशेष रूप से महिला शिक्षकों को मानसिक रूप से परेशान किया वहां भय और दबाव का माहौल बनाया।

इस घटना से विद्यालय का शैक्षणिक वातावरण प्रभावित हुआ और शिक्षकों को अनावश्यक मानसिक तनाव का सामना करना पड़ा।

ज्वाइंट एक्शन कमेटी ऑफ टीचर्स का मानना है कि यह कृत्य प्रतिरूपण (Impersonation), आपराधिक , डराने-धमकाने और अधिकारों के दुरुपयोग की श्रेणी में आता है तथा यह शिक्षकों, विशेषकर महिला शिक्षकों, की सुरक्षा, गरिमा और मनोबल के लिए गंभीर खतरा है।

इस संबंध में जॉइंट एक्शन कमेटी ऑफ टीचर्स, यूटी चंडीगढ़ ने चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक महोदय से मांग की है कि दोनों अज्ञात/संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों के विरुद्ध भारतीय दंड संहिता की सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत एफआईआर दर्ज की जाए। उनकी पहचान, मंशा तथा कथित शिकायत के स्रोत की गहन जांच कराई जाए।

भविष्य में स्कूल परिसरों में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति रोकने हेतु सख्त कानूनी कदम उठाए जाएं।

शिक्षक यूनियन ने प्रशासन से शिक्षकों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और दोषियों के विरुद्ध शीघ्र व कठोर कार्रवाई की अपील की है।

Chandigarh, Jan.21, 2026:- ऐसे समय में जब चीन ने दुनिया भर में स्पेशल फॉस्फेट फर्टिलाइज़र के एक्सपोर्ट पर बैन 2026 तक बढ़ा दिया है, भारत ने एक बड़ी कामयाबी हासिल की है। भारत में सॉल्युबल फर्टिलाइज़र पायलट प्लांट का पहला फेज़ सफलतापूर्वक चालू हो गया है। इसका उद्घाटन जवाहरलाल नेहरू एल्युमिनियम रिसर्च डेवलपमेंट एंड डिज़ाइन सेंटर के डायरेक्टर डॉ. अनुपम अग्निहोत्री ने किया।

यह पायलट फैसिलिटी:- J.N.A.R.D.C. द्वारा फंडेड रिसर्च प्रोजेक्ट के तहत तय समय से लगभग एक महीने पहले पूरी हो गई है। इस कामयाबी को भारत में स्पेशल और वैल्यू-एडेड फर्टिलाइज़र की स्वदेशी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग कैपेसिटी को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम माना जा रहा है। इससे देश में सभी बड़े सॉल्युबल फर्टिलाइज़र का प्रोडक्शन हो सकेगा, जिन्हें अब तक दूसरे देशों से इंपोर्ट किया जाता था।

अगले फेज में इस पायलट प्लांट को बड़े लेवल पर बढ़ाया जाएगा, जिसे देश की आने वाली फर्टिलाइजर कंपनियों द्वारा अपनाने के लिए तैयार किया जा रहा है। इससे न सिर्फ इंपोर्ट पर डिपेंडेंस कम होगी, बल्कि रोजगार के मौके भी मिलेंगे, टेक्नोलॉजिकल आत्मनिर्भरता का फायदा मिलेगा और लागत में कमी आएगी। मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ माइंस के तहत आने वाली नोडल एजेंसी JNARDDC, जरूरी मिनरल्स समेत कई स्ट्रेटेजिक सेक्टर्स में स्वदेशी रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट को लगातार बढ़ावा दे रही है। इशिता इंटरनेशनल द्वारा डेवलप की गई यह ग्रीन टेक्नोलॉजी, जो खास घुलनशील फर्टिलाइजर्स के प्रोडक्शन के लिए डिजाइन की गई है, अप्रैल में JNARDDC के सहयोग से लॉन्च की गई थी और रिकॉर्ड टाइम में लैब से पायलट स्केल तक स्केल-अप दिखाता है कि देश में इंस्टीट्यूशनल सपोर्ट से स्वदेशी टेक्नोलॉजी डेवलप की जा रही हैं।

Chandigarh, Jan.21, 2026:-चंडीगढ़ पुलिस की हैंडबॉल टीम ने सिलीगुड़ी -वेस्ट बंगाल में हुए द्वितीय आल इंडिया हैंडबॉल क्लस्टर टूर्नामेंट में अपने पहले मैच में जीत हासिल कर ली है। चंडीगढ़ पुलिस टीम ने अपने पहले मुकाबले में छत्तीसगढ़ टीम  विरुद्ध शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए 54–35 से प्रभावशाली जीत दर्ज की। यह जीत हेड कांस्टेबल रविंदर कुमार के कुशल कप्तानी में हासिल हुई, जिनके नेतृत्व में टीम ने पूरे मैच में बेहतरीन तालमेल और आक्रामक खेल का प्रदर्शन किया।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रातः 10:00 बजे हुआ, जबकि सम्मेलन सत्र 11:00 बजे प्रारंभ हुआ। इस संवाद का उद्देश्य भारत और श्रीलंका के बीच सहकारी-से-सहकारी सहयोग को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए, विशेषकर व्यापार, संस्थागत साझेदारी एवं क्षमता निर्माण के क्षेत्रों में, विचार-विमर्श एवं अनुभव साझा करने हेतु एक केंद्रित मंच प्रदान करना था।

संवाद के प्रमुख विषयों में कृषि, मूल्यवर्धित उत्पादों, मत्स्य पालन एवं सेवाओं में सहकारी-नेतृत्व वाले व्यापार की संभावनाएँ; प्रशिक्षण, नेतृत्व विकास एवं अध्ययन-भ्रमण से संबंधित संयुक्त पहलें; तथा दोनों देशों के सहकारी प्रशिक्षण एवं अनुसंधान संस्थानों के बीच संस्थागत सहयोग शामिल रहे ।

संवाद का समापन दो से तीन ठोस सहयोगात्मक मार्गों की पहचान, संभावित पायलट पहलों की खोज तथा संस्थागत समझौता ज्ञापनों (MoUs) एवं विनिमय कार्यक्रमों को आगे बढ़ाने पर सहमति के साथ हुआ। यह कार्यक्रम भारत और श्रीलंका के सहकारी क्षेत्रों के बीच सतत एवं पारस्परिक रूप से लाभकारी सहयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम सिद्ध हुआ।

Chandigarh,  Jan.20,2026:- The Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee today announced the launch of the Ideas Bank, a participatory civic initiative designed to give the residents of Chandigarh a direct and meaningful role in shaping the city's development.

On www.chdnext.com, the platform has been designed as an open and accessible online platform through which citizens can submit ideas, suggestions, and solutions on issues impacting everyday life in the city, including infrastructure, civic amenities, environment, public spaces, and local governance. The initiative aims to ensure that public feedback is not only heard, but also actively informs political engagement and decision-making.

Member of Parliament Manish Tewari, while welcoming the initiative, said that chandigarh is a city with an aware, engaged, and deeply invested citizenry. Over the years, people have consistently expressed a desire to be heard on matters that directly affect their lives and neighbourhoods. 

The Ideas Bank creates an institutional mechanism through which people can directly articulate their visions for the city's future. By collating and studying these perspectives, it will become possible to identify the most urgent and widely felt issues facing the city at any given point, allowing us, their public representatives, to respond with greater focus and accountability. It reflects the Congress's belief that effective governance must be rooted in real experiences and concerns from the ground.

CTCC President Harmohinder Singh Lucky explained that the initiative would function through an action-oriented process. He said that citizens will be encouraged to submit their ideas through the Ideas Bank website. Based on these submissions, key focus areas will be identified on a regular basis, allowing the Congress to concentrate its efforts on the most pressing issues facing the city at a given time.

He further added that the objective of the platform is to foster a sense of ownership among residents.

The Committee emphasised that the Ideas Bank will be inclusive and open to all sections of society, including students, professionals, RWAs, traders, senior citizens, and civil society groups. Inputs received will be reviewed, categorised, and used to guide advocacy, policy discussions, and future initiatives across the city.

Nirankari Sant Samagam in Sangli from January 24, Preparations nearing Completion with a Spirit of Oneness

Chandigarh, Jan. 20, 2026:- Infused with the sacred emotions of love, service, and unity, the 59th Nirankari Sant Samagam of Maharashtra will be held from January 24 to January 26, 2026, in Sangli, in the divine presence of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji. The three-day grand event will be organized with devotion and splendor. 

The preparations for this mega event are now in their final phase, with dedicated devotees and Nirankari volunteers working with utmost dedication, discipline, and selfless service to make the Samagam venue well-organized, beautifully decorated, and highly attractive.

This Sant Samagam will be held at a vast and magnificent 400-acre complex in Sangli, located in Sanglawadi, Sangli district, Maharashtra. निरंकारी मिशन द्वारा लगाए गए कैंप में 201 ने किया रक्तदान

Khatar, Jan.19, 2026:-निरंकारी सतगुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी महाराज के पवित्र आशीर्वाद से संत निरंकारी चैरिटेबल फाउंडेशन के तत्वावधान में टीडीआई सिटी, सेक्टर-74 स्थित संत निरंकारी सत्संग भवन में एक रक्तदान शिविर लगाया गया, जिसमें 201 श्रद्धालुओं ने रक्तदान किया।

 इस शिविर का उद्घाटन चंडीगढ़ ज़ोन के ज़ोनल इंचार्ज ओ.पी. निरंकारी ने स्थानीय मुखी गुरप्रताप सिंह एवं क्षेत्रीय संचालक करनैल सिंह के साथ मिलकर किया।

इस अवसर पर ओ.पी. निरंकारी ने मानवता के लिए रक्तदाताओं द्वारा किए गए इस अनुकरणीय प्रयास के लिए सतगुरु माता सुदीक्षा जी से आशीर्वाद की कामना की। उन्होंने कहा कि इस शिविर का मुख्य उद्देश्य बाबा हरदेव सिंह जी के वचनों — "मानव को मानव हो प्यारा, एक-दूसरे का बने सहारा" — को जीवन में उतारना है। वर्ष 1986 से अब तक संत निरंकारी मिशन द्वारा लगाए गए लगभग 9000 शिविरों में करीब 1.5 मिलियन यूनिट रक्तदान किया जा चुका है। इस संदर्भ में उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2025-26 के दौरान चंडीगढ़ ज़ोन में लगभग 20 रक्तदान शिविर लगाए जा रहे हैं, जिनमें करीब 3000 श्रद्धालु रक्तदान करेंगे।

Chandigarh, Jan.19, 2026:- Member of Parliament Manish Tewari will inaugurate Leeche, a digital platform designed to bring transparency and accountability to volunteer coordination in India. The launch event will feature a panel discussion on challenges facing NGOs and volunteers, followed by CSR awards recognizing organizations demonstrating exemplary social impact. On this occasion Chandigarh Congress President H S Lucky were also present.

India's volunteering sector currently operates through fragmented coordination systems like WhatsApp groups, manual spreadsheets, and informal records. This leads to verification challenges and instances of certificate fraud. Students seeking verified community service hours for college applications often face documentation gaps, while NGOs struggle with administrative burdens and limited visibility beyond their immediate networks.

Sumeir, founder of Leeche, said that volunteering is fundamental to civic engagement, but without proper infrastructure, impact remains difficult to measure or scale. He added that we're not building another donation platform. We're creating verified infrastructure for time-based contributions where attendance is confirmed by organizations, not self-declared.

Leeche connects volunteers with NGOs through a structured workflow. Organizations publish opportunities in a public directory with verified details, volunteers register for events aligned with their interests, and service hours are digitally confirmed after participation. This creates a permanent, transparent record that schools and institutions can trust.

The January 19 launch event began with a panel discussion featuring NGO leaders and volunteers addressing coordination challenges and impact delivery. The platform presentation demonstrated how Leeche enables discovery of opportunities, efficient coordination, and verified tracking. Following a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, Chief Guest Manish Tewari present four CSR Awards before delivering a keynote address on structured volunteerism and public-private collaboration.

The platform addresses needs across multiple stakeholders. NGOs gain simplified volunteer management and increased credibility with institutions. Volunteers build portable service records for academic or professional use. Schools access reliable verification for community service requirements. CSR programs can measure civic participation with greater accountability.

Sumeir said further that digital infrastructure can strengthen social ecosystems when designed with transparency and verification at its core. He said that Leeche treats time as a measurable, respected contribution and operates on three principles: time over money, verification over self-reporting, and transparency for all stakeholders.

Chandigarh, Jan.19, 2026:- संसद सदस्य मनीष तिवारी ने लीची एप्प का सोमवार को उद्घाटन किया। जो भारत में वॉलंटियर कोऑर्डिनेशन में पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही लाने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म है। लॉन्च इवेंट में NGOs और वॉलंटियर्स के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर एक पैनल चर्चा हुई, जिसके बाद उन संगठनों को CSR पुरस्कार दिए गए, जो अनुकरणीय सामाजिक प्रभाव दिखाते हैं। इस अवसर पर चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष हरमोहिंदर सिंह लक्की भी मौजूद थे।

भारत का वॉलंटियरिंग क्षेत्र वर्तमान में वट्स एप्प ग्रुप, मैनुअल स्प्रेडशीट और अनौपचारिक रिकॉर्ड जैसे बिखरे हुए कोऑर्डिनेशन सिस्टम के माध्यम से काम करता है। इससे वेरिफिकेशन में चुनौतियाँ आती हैं और सर्टिफिकेट फ्रॉड के मामले सामने आते हैं। कॉलेज एप्लीकेशन के लिए वेरिफाइड कम्युनिटी सर्विस घंटे चाहने वाले छात्रों को अक्सर डॉक्यूमेंटेशन की कमी का सामना करना पड़ता है, जबकि एन जी ओज प्रशासनिक बोझ और अपने तत्काल नेटवर्क से परे सीमित दृश्यता से जूझते हैं।

Chandigarh, Jan.16, 2026:-पंजाब क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन ने हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन को सिर्फ 7 रनों के मामूली अंतर से हराकर छठे रमा अत्रे मेमोरियल महिला सीनियर क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता। फाइनल मैच आज यहां न्यू पी.सी.ए. क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, मुल्लांपुर में खेला गया।

पंजाब के पूर्व डी.जी.पी. चंद्र शेखर (आईपीएस) ने विजेता टीमों को पुरस्कार दिए। विजेता टीम को 75 हजार रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार और ट्रॉफी दी गई और उपविजेता टीम को 50 हजार रुपये का नकद पुरस्कार और ट्रॉफी भी दी गई। इस अवसर पर पूर्व आईएएस श्री विवेक अत्रे ने कहा कि यह टूर्नामेंट हमारी युवा क्रिकेटरों के लिए महिला क्रिकेट को बड़े पैमाने पर बढ़ावा देने का हमारा प्रयास है।

पहले बैटिंग करते हुए पंजाब क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन महिला सीनियर क्रिकेट टीम ने 50 ओवर में 203 रन बनाकर ऑल आउट हो गई। प्रगति सिंह ने सबसे ज़्यादा 61 रन बनाए, अवरीत संधू ने 34 रन, सृष्टि राजपूत ने 28 रन, नीतू सिंह ने 21 रन जबकि प्रियंका मुतरेजा ने 20 रन बनाए। बॉलिंग साइड से हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन की बॉलर सोनल ठाकुर ने 4 विकेट लिए, ज्योति ठाकुर ने 2 विकेट लिए जबकि नीना चौधरी, निकिता एम चौहान और निकिता एस चौहान सभी ने 1-1 विकेट लिया। जवाब में हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन महिला सीनियर टीम 44.1 ओवर में 196 रन बनाकर ऑल आउट हो गई और सिर्फ 7 रन से पीछे रह गई। सोनल ठाकुर ने 62 रन नॉट आउट बनाए और वह आखिर तक नाबाद रहीं, निकिता एस चौहान ने 47 रन बनाए, पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर सुषमा वर्मा ने 46 रन बनाए जबकि कशिश वर्मा ने 14 रन बनाए। बॉलिंग साइड से पंजाब की बॉलर प्रियंका मुतरेजा ने 4 विकेट लिए, कोमल प्रीत कौर ने 2 विकेट लिए जबकि प्रिया कुमारी, प्रगति सिंह और मन्नत कश्यप सभी ने 1-1 विकेट लिया।

Bharathi Bhawan, Sector-30B, Chandigarh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Tamil community, cultural enthusiasts, and dignitaries, reflecting the spirit of unity and cultural pride. The

programme commenced with traditional rituals marking Thai Pongal, the harvest festival of

Tamils, symbolising gratitude to nature, farmers, cattle, and the Sun God for prosperity and

abundance. The celebrations featured vibrant cultural performances highlighting Tamil heritage. Traditional

musical instruments such as Nadaswaram, Thavil, Urumi, Thappu, and Pambai added grandeur to the occasion and captivated the audience with their rhythmic and ceremonial richness. A major highlight of the event was the inauguration of the "Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar Memorial Centre", established in memory of Kalaignar Dr. M. Karunanidhi, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and a towering figure in Tamil literature, culture, and social reform. The memorial centre aims to promote the three dimensions of Tamil—Iyal (Literature), Isai (Music), and Nadagam (Drama)—and to serve as a platform for cultural and literary activities. Another major attraction of the event was the traditional Tamil lunch, served on plaintain leaf (banana leaf) in accordance with age-old customs. Participants were treated to sixteen

varieties of authentic Tamil dishes and Sugarcane of which were specially brought from Tamil

Nadu, ensuring traditional taste and cultural authenticity. The festive meal, offering a wholesome and memorable culinary experience. Speaking on the occasion, the office bearers of the Sangam emphasised the importance of

preserving Tamil language and culture, especially among younger generations living outside

Tamil Nadu. The event reaffirmed the Sangam's commitment to cultural integration, inclusiveness, and community service. इस कार्यक्रम में तमिल समुदाय के सदस्यों, सांस्कृतिक प्रेमियों एवं गणमान्य व्यक्तियों की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी देखने को मिली, जो एकता और सांस्कृतिक गौरव की भावना को दर्शाती है। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ थाई पोंगल से संबंधित पारंपरिक अनुष्ठानों के साथ हुआ। थाई पोंगल तमिलों का प्रमुख फसल पर्व है, जो प्रकृति, किसानों, पशुधन तथा सूर्य देवता के प्रति कृतज्ञता और समृद्धि का प्रतीक है।

Chandigarh, Jan.17, 2026:--The two patients from Punjab suffering from Parkinson's disease and cervical dystonia respectively got a new lease of life after a successful deep brain stimulation (DBS) at Medanta– The Medicity, Gurugram.

Addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club on Friday, Dr. Anirban Deep Banerjee, director-neurosurgery at the Institute of Neurosciences, Medanta said that Gurmukh Singh, started experiencing symptoms for Parkinson's Disease when he was in his sixties.

Advancing Parkinson's disease left Singh's spine bent and he was about to become completely immobile. Post DBS the patient's symptoms improved within a few weeks.

Gurmukh Singh said that now, with quarterly tuning of the brain pacemaker by Dr. Banerjee, my symptoms are under control, and I can sign papers, enjoy long walks, and family holidays.

Naunihal Singh, in his 80s was suffering from cervical dystonia, which is a neurological movement disorder that causes involuntary muscle contractions in the neck, and can lead to chronic pain and psychological distress.

Jaspreet, son of Naunihal Singh, said that since undergoing the DBS surgery, my father's recovery has been remarkable, and he is doing very well.

Dr. Banerjee said that India has one of the world's highest total burdens of Parkinson's disease, with a substantial number of patients experiencing onset of motor symptoms in their prime working years, yet not many know the promise of DBS. 

 Dr. Banerjee informed that This cutting-edge neurostimulation procedure helps patients with advanced neurological disorders.

He further said that neurological conditions are now one of the leading causes of disability worldwide, with the global burden of illness and disability rising substantially over the last few decades. 

Dr. Banerjee maintained that in India, they account for about 10% of the total disease burden. While we have recognised, effective, advanced treatments like DBS to help transform lives, access remains a significant challenge.

चंडीगढ़ पुलिस की दोहरी नीति: आरोपी को संरक्षण दे, पीड़ित को ही किया जा रहा परेशान हिट एंड रन मामला: चंडीगढ़ पुलिस पर आरोप, शिकायतकर्ता को दबाया जा रहा

Chandigarh, Jan.17, 2026:--चंडीगढ़ पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली पर एक बार फिर से प्रश्न चिन्ह लगा है। आलाधिकारी अपने मातहतों को यहां पारदर्शिता और निष्पक्ष कार्रवाई का पाठ पढ़ाते है और चंडीगढ़ पुलिस के स्लोगन वी केअर फ़ॉर यु पर भी बराबर अमल करने की नसीहत देते हैं। लेकिन हकीकत में पुलिसकर्मी अधिकारियों के आदेशों की अवहेलना करने से नही चूकते। ऐसा ही वाकया बलटाना निवासी मोहित गुप्ता के साथ हुआ। यहां हिट एंड रन की शिकायत देने के बाबजूद भी थाना  पुलिस द्वारा उन्हें ही परेशान किया जा रहा है और तो और आरोपी पर कार्रवाई करने की बजाए उन्हें ही बार बार थाने बुलाया जा रहा है। एक तरहसे उन पर शिकायत वापिस लेने का दबाब बनाया जा रहा है। थाना पुलिस की ओर से उन्हें कोई इंसाफ न मिलते देख उन्होंने अपनी शिकायत एस एस पी पब्लिक विंडो पर दे दी है।

बलटाना-जीरकपुर निवासी मोहित गुप्ता सुपुत्र सुरिंदर कुमार ने बताया कि वो 10 जनवरी को बलटाना से सेक्टर 20 चंडीगढ़ जा रहा था। जब वो अपनी गाडी No. PB70L 1258 make Verna Black colour को चलाकर वक्त करीब 10.10 PM पर ट्रिब्यून चौक पर पहुंचा तो  ट्रिब्युन चौक की red light होने पर खड़ा रुक गए। तबहीअचानक पीछे से बडी जोर से एक गाडी ने मेरी गाडी में टक्कर मार दी जो मैने टक्कर मारने वाली गाडी काले रंग की थार थी। एक पल तो वो कुछ समझ न सके, फिर वो अपनी गाड़ी से उतर कर पीछे की तरफ गए। उन्होंने थार गाड़ी जिसे एक लड़का चला रहा था, और साथ वाली सीट पर लड़की बैठी थी। देखने मे लग रहा था कि उन्होंने ड्रिंक की हुई है। उन्होंने गाड़ी के नुकसान को लेकर जब थार ड्राइवर को टोका, तो उन्होंने न केवल उसके साथ बदतमीजी की, बल्कि उल्टा उन्हें ही धमकाने लग गया और गाड़ी को रेड लाइट में ही भगा कर ले गए। उन्होंने तुरंत पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम कॉल किया लेकिन पुलिस भी मौके पर लगभग डेढ़ घंटे बाद पहुंची। उनके आने पर उन्होंने अपने साथ हुए वाकये की पूरी जानकारी दी। थाना सेक्टर 31 से आई ओ अजमेर सैनी मौके पर पहुंचे। उन्होंने उनके साथ भी मामले की जानकारी सांझ की। उन्होंने उसका मेडिकल भी करवाना जरूरी न समझा और थाने आने को कहा। वहां पर फिर से उनसे मामले की जानकारी मांगी गई। उनके साथ ऐसे बर्ताव किया गया, जैसे वो पीड़ित नही अपराधी हों। उन्हें अगले दिन फिर शाम को आने को कहा गया और इस दौरान थार चालक का पता लगाने का आश्वासन दिया गया। अगले दिन जब वो तय समय पर पहुंचे तो भी पुलिस की और से कोई संतुष्टिजनक जबाब नही दिया गया कि थार चालक पर क्या कार्रवाई हो रही है। 

मोहित गुप्ता ने बताया कि पुलिस के पास मौके की सी सी टी वी फुटेज भी है, जिसमे Vehicle No. T1225UP0629J Make Thar Black Colour उनकी गाड़ी को हिट करते दिख रही है। इसके बाबजूद भी पुलिस ने अज्ञात के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया और  उन्हें कहा कि जब थार चालक मिल जाएगा तो उन्हें जानकारी दे दी जाएगी।

 पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से आहत होकर उन्होंने 14 जनवरी को एस एस पी पब्लिक विंडो पर अपनी शिकायत दे दी। 

 मोहित गुप्ता ने कहा कि पुलिस की ऐसी कारगुजारी के चलते ही सड़क हादसे में लोग किसी की मदद नही करते। यहाँ शिकायतकर्ता/ मददगार को ही आरोपी की तरह ट्रीट किया जाता हो। उन्होंने आलाधिकारियों से गुहार लगाई की कि मामले की निष्पक्षता से जांच की जाए और उन्हें इंसाफ दिलाया जाए।

वहीं जब मामले की वास्तविक स्थिति जानने के लिए आई ओ अजमेर सैनी से बात की गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि मामले की जांच निष्पक्षता के साथ की जा रही है। शिकायतकर्ता द्वारा दी गई शिकायत के आधार पर ही कार्रवाई हो रही है। बाकि शिकायतकर्ता द्वारा आरोपी को संरक्षण देने का आरोप बेबुनियाद और निराधार है।
