नव वर्ष को लेकर श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सेक्टर 46 में सुंदर कांड पाठ का आयोजन

Chandigarh, Dec.31, 2022:-नव वर्ष के मंगलमय और स्वागत को लेकर आज यहां सेक्टर 46 स्थित श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर में सुंदर कांड पाठ का आयोजन किया गया। मंदिर परिसर में नव वर्ष की पूर्व संधिया पर आज सायं आयोजित किये गए इस पाठ के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में सेक्टर वासियों ने पहुंच कर हाज़री भरी और प्रभु हनुमान जी का गुणगान किया। 

श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सभा सेक्टर 46 के अध्यक्ष जतिंदर भाटिया ने जताया कि हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी मंदिर सभा की ओर से मंदिर परिसर में सुंदर कांड पाठ का आयोजन किया गया। उन्हने बताया कि श्री राम आराध्य फाउंडेशन और श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सभा सेक्टर 46  की ओर आयोजित किये गए सुंदर कांड पाठ के दौरान बीते वर्ष के शुक्राना और आने वाले नव वर्ष के स्वागत और मंगल कामना के लिए विशेष पूजा अर्चना की गई। उन्होंने बताया कि आज की युवा पीढ़ी पर भारी पर रही पश्च्मि सभ्यता को लेकर युवा पीढ़ी को सनातन संस्कृति से रूबरू करवा कर देश की संस्कृति से जोड़ने को लेकर हर वर्ष उनकी सभा की ओर से नव वर्ष के अवसर पर यह प्रयास किया जाता है। मंदिर परिसर में सुंदर कांड पाठ के उपरांत सभी प्रभु भक्तों ने एक दूसरे को आने वाले नव वर्ष की शुभ कामनाये दी और सभी के स्वथ्य जीवन को लेकर प्रभु के आगे पूजा अर्चना की।

 इस मौके पर श्री राम आराध्य फाउंडेशन के ओर से शुशील सोवत, रविंद्र मदान, संजीव शर्मा राकेश गुप्ता,महिपाल, राजेश बसिन, संदीप गोयल, उपेंद्र सेठ और संजय गुप्ता सहित अन्य मेंबर भी उपस्थित थे। 

सुंदर कांड पाठ के समापन के बाद प्रभु भक्तों में दूध, गाजर का हलवा और लड्डू प्रसाद बांटा गया और आने वाले वर्ष 2023 के दौरान विश्व शांति और सभी के लिए मंगल कामना की अरदास की गई।

नववर्ष की पूर्व संध्या पर माता की चौकी का आयोजन

हर वर्ष की भांति इस बार भी ''माता की चौकी'' समारोह धूमधाम से आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें ट्राईसिटी के बहु संख्या श्रद्धालुओं ने भाग लिया। यहां यह ध्यान देने वाली बात है कि साल के आखिरी दिन यानी 31 दिसंबर को नए साल का जश्न मनाने के लिए युवा और मध्यम आयु वर्ग के लोग होटलों, क्लबों और हिल स्टेशनों पर जाकर नए साल का जश्न मनाना पसंद करते हैं, जहां वे नए साल का स्वागत करने के लिए भोजन और नृत्य करते हैं।  लेकिन श्री कुकरेजा ने शीर्षक समारोह का आयोजन किया, जहां वे बड़ी संख्या में भक्तों को आमंत्रित कर उन्हें माता रानी का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने का शुभ अवसर दिया।

Kin of Two Deceased Outsourced MCC Employees Handed over Cheques of 2.5 Lacs Each

Chandigarh, Dec.30, 2022:- Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor and Ms. Anindita Mitra, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh handed over cheques of Rs. 2.5 lacs each to the kin of two deceased outsourced MCC employees for death due to natural causes, as insurance cover provided by the Punjab and Sind Bank.

Recently, two employees of sanitation wing, MCC passed away due to natural causes namely Vikas son of Ram Dhari and Sajjan Singh son Rameshwar. The cheques were given to the nominees of these employees i.e. Raveena sister of late Vikas and Smt. Suraj Mukhi wife of late Sajjan Singh.

Smt. Anindita Mitra,  Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said that this was the first of its kind death cover of insurance provided by the Bank without payment of premium either by the MCC or the beneficiary . She said that this was made possible only with the insurance scheme of all employees of MCC on their salary accounts @ Rs. 40 lacs for accidental death to families of deceased.

She said that this mega beneficiary scheme for MCC employees, conceived in collaboration with Punjab & Sind Bank, was launched recently. Aiming to provide such exhaustive insurance coverage to about 10500 employees working in the Municipal Corporation and their families noble initiative, which has offered such huge benefit to all MCC employees.

She said that this scheme for all its 10500 employees working in  different wings of MC  including 925 door to door waste collectors, 543 daily wagers, 76 contract basis and 5272 on the outsourced staff, 1100 employees of Lions firm which is looking after the sanitation work of sectors from 31 to 62.

पोस्ट क्रिसमस सेलिब्रेशन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। जिसके तहत इन लोगों के लिए गिफ्ट्स, मनोरंजक कार्यक्रम सहित लंच की व्यवस्था की गई थी। इस कार्यक्रम में चंडीगढ़ व आसपास के क्षेत्रों से लगभग 125 लोगों भाग लिया। इस मौके मिशन टू द ब्लाइंड संस्था के चेयरमैन लॉरेंस मलिक, सेक्रेटरी एडविन गिल, एडवाइजर विलियम गिल और राजकुमार गुड्डू, सिम्मी ढींगरा सहित सिद्धू राज उपस्थित थे।

पी जी आई कैंपस स्थित जीवन ज्योति चर्च में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए संस्था के चेयरमैन लॉरेंस मलिक ने बताया कि मिशन टू द ब्लाइंड संस्था द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष नेत्रहीनों के साथ क्रिसमस सेलिब्रेट किया जाता है। इस मौके उन्हें मनोरंजक गतिविधियों में भाग लेने के साथ साथ उनकी आवश्यकता अनुसार गिफ्ट्स(हेल्प) दिए जाते हैं। कार्यक्रम के अंत मे उनके लिए भोजन की भी व्यवस्था की जाती है। उनकी संस्था द्वारा समय समय पर भी इनकी मदद की जाती है, इन्हें किसी भी तरह की मदद की दरकार हो तो उनकी संस्था तुरंत प्रभाव से उनकी जरूरत को पूरा करती है, फिर चाहे वो आर्थिक मदद हो, चाहे वो शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में मदद हो या चाहे फिर वो मेडिकल या राशन मुहैया करवाने की मदद हो। उनकी संस्था द्वारा ये कार्यक्रम पिछले 9-10 वर्षों से जारी है।

The sacrifices of Chaar Sahibzaade at a tender age gives strength to fight against oppressors and have faith in the Almighty. In present scenario, along with focusing on academic aspect, children should learn some creative skills. This will enhance their way of thinking and will give them a sense of having broader outlook towards life. Participating in sports will make them able to understand the significance of team work and sportsmanship. उन्होंने कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली केंद्र सरकार द्वारा देश भर के बच्चों को इस सर्वोच्च बलिदान से अवगत कराने हेतु विभिन्न स्तरों पर विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा साहिबजादों के सर्वोच्च बलिदान के दिन को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि हेतु वीर बाल दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया गया।

The mega event started by felicitating the Golden Jubilee batch of 1972 and the Silver Jubilee batch of 1997. The number of attendees from the Silver Jubilee batch was extremely impressive and touched 25 in number. There was a memorabilia desk as well for the old boys to buy items of interest from.

This year team SJOBA presented the enigmatic Lekka from Delhi! With over 100 performances across Delhi, Mumbai, Amsterdam and Barcelona, her stellar performance made a mark on SJOBA Winter Ball-2022. She was followed by DJ Tandavic to ensure that all members shake their legs late into the night.The DJ started playing peppy and latest numbers which resulted in the audience hitting the dance floor.  

Piping hot snacks were served non-stop. The night ended on a sumptuous note with lavish food with cuisines from across the globe and loads of school time tales.

The meet was duly supported by Diageo, WSL-Jeep, Trident Group and Coca-Cola, who  extended their patronage to SJOBA Winter Ball 2022.

बाबा बालक नाथ जी की भव्य चौकी का आयोजन

Zirakpur, Dec.26,2022:-जो मनुष्य भगवान की भक्ति करता है उसे संकटों को सामना नही करना पड़ता।  यह बात बाबा बालक नाथजी के भव्य चौकी के दौरान बाबा तजिंदर पाल सिंह ने जीरकपुर स्थित लौहगढ में उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं से कही। इस अवसर पर बाबा तजिंदर पाल सिंह जी के सानिध्य में बाबा बालक नाथजी की चौकी सजाई गई।

इस अवसर पर जाने माने पंजाबी गायक करन कुमार और  चन्नी, मुकेश इनायत व एंकर हेमंत वालिया, एक्टर सोनू प्रधान, पंजाबी गायक जगपाल संधू तथा द लॉयस बाऊसर के मालिक शर्मा भी उपस्थित थे जिन्होंंने बाबा बालक नाथ जी के दरबार में माथा टेका और बाबा जी का आर्शीवाद लिया। इस अवसर पर गायकों ने बाबा बालक नाथ के सुंदर भजनों से उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को समां बांधा।

चौकी का आयोजन बाबा तजिन्दर पाल सिंह द्वारा किया गया । बाबा बालक नाथ जी की विधि विधान के साथ पूजा अर्चना की गई साथ ही धूना प्रचण्ड व ज्योत प्रचण्ड की गई। और चौकी आरम्भ की गई।

इस अवसर पर बाबा तजिन्दर पाल सिंह ने श्रद्धालुओं को बाबा बालक नाथ जी के जीवन पर प्रकाश डाला और उनकी पावन महिमा का गुणगान किया और श्रद्धालुओं के दुखों के निवारण के उपाय बताएं। जबकि  संकीर्तन में भक्तों व आयोजन में शामिल हुए पंजाबी गायकों ने एक से बढक़र एक भजन गाकर श्रद्धालुओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

इस अवसर पर संगत के श्रद्धालु हरदीप पासी व अन्यों ने बताया कि बाबा बालक नाथजी की चौंकी हर रविवार को सुबह भक्तों के लिए आयोजित की जाती है जिसमें पूरे देश के विभिन्न कोनों से संगत आती है और अपनी जीवन की अलग अलग समस्याओं से निजात पाती है। उन्होंने बताया कि यहां पर चौकी में बाबा बालक नाथजी को किसी प्रकार का चढ़ावा निषेध है तथा दूर दर्राज के क्षेत्रों से माथा टेकने व अपनी मुरादों को पूरा करने वाले जरूरतमंद लोगों की उनके आने जाने का खर्चा भी दिया जाता है जिसके लिए कुछ नियम बनाये गये हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जो श्रद्धालु पूरे विश्वास के साथ चौंकी में आते हैं वे अपनी मांगी मुरादों को पूरा होते देखते हैं।

चौकीं के समापन के बाद विशाल भंडारे का आयोजन किया गया।

Value Added Course "The Science of Happiness” Started at GCE

Chandigarh, Dec.26, 2022:-Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh started a value added course " The Science of Happiness" today i.e. Dec. 26, 2022 . The special event held today was presided by Vivek Atray, Former IAS , a Motivational Speaker, and popular Author. 

Principal of the college, Dr Sapna Nanda presented a welcome address to the chief guest and highlighted the importance of happiness in an individual's life. During an interactive session the chief guest enlightened the students about the basics of happiness. He suggested that meditation, physical exercise, good sleep and appropriate use of social media is essential for maintaining a balance between mental and physical health. He also guided students to keep realistic expectations and inculcate spiritual inclination at an early stage.

The organiser of the course  Dr Nisha Singh, Assistant professor introduced the course by highlighting the need of the happiness program and its objectives. The program was attended by 150 students of the college. Meghna, a student of B.Ed. (I) presented a formal vote of thanks to the chief guest. Dr Sapna Nanda  congratulated the organizer  for the initiative and assured students that the course will  help them develop an insight to live a happier and fulfilling life.

SJOBA Winter Ball Held

Panchkula, Dec.26, 2022:-The much-awaited St John's Old Boys Association (SJOBA) Winter Ball –an alumni annual meet was held at Panchkula. The SJOBA Winter Ball 2022 received the support of Prime Land Promoters and Builders (PLPB), which was represented by its CEO Sumit Singla, and MD- Lohit Bansal. PLPB, which is developing a state of the art real estate project 'The Wellness City' on the Chandigarh -Patiala Road by using environmentally friendly bioclimatic architecture and with the help of international architects, was the title sponsor of SJOBA Winter Ball 2022.  SJOBA also extended its gratitude to PLPB. 

The SJOBA Winter Ball is held  in the month of December every year, this year's get together proved to be a roaring success like always. साहिबजादों की याद में राजीव मार्किट सेक्टर 37 ने लगाया लंगर

Chandigarh, Dec.24, 2022:-सेक्टर 37 की राजीव मार्किट के दुकानदारों ने शनिवार को चार साहिबजादों की याद में मार्किट के सामने चाय- मिक्स पकौड़े का लंगर लगाया। जिसमें राहगीरों ने लंगर श्रद्धाभाव से लंगर ग्रहण किया। दुकानदारों ने पूरा दिन लोगों को रोक-2 कर चाय व ब्रेड मिठाई की सेवा निभाई।

इस मौके सेक्टर 37 रोटरी ब्लड बैंक सोसाइटी के सहयोग से रक्तदान शिविर का भी आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर एरिया पार्षद योगेश ढींगरा, वार्ड नंबर 24 पार्षद जसबीर सिंह बंटी और पूर्व मेयर रविकांत शर्मा भी मौजूद थे।

      राजीव मार्किट के दुकानदार विक्टर सिद्धू, बलवीर सिंह वीरा और सचिन बावा सहित गुरप्रीत सिंह, विनोद चावला, कार्तिक नंदा, मोती लाल वर्मा, नवदीप सिंह, परविंदर सिंह व अन्य भी उपस्थित थे। 

 वही साहिबजादों की शहादत को याद करते हुए वहां मौजूद हर व्यक्ति की आंखें नम हो गई। 

विक्टर सिद्धू और बलवीर सिंह वीरा ने कहा कि आज समाज साहिबजादों की शहादत को भुला नही सकता। उन्हीं की कुर्बानियों से ही आज हम सब आजाद भारत में सांस ले रहे है।

Chandigarh, Dec.24, 2022:-मार्किट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन सेक्टर 24 की ओर से दशम पातशाही श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के छोटे साहिबजादों की शहादत की याद में समर्पित चाय- ब्रेड पकौड़े का लंगर लगाया गया। लंगर की शुरुआत गुरु साहिब की बंदगी में शीश नवा कर की गई। मार्किट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों ने सरबत के भले और मानवता के कल्याण की अरदास की।

    सेक्टर 24 मार्किट में  दोपहर 12 बजे से शुरू कर गुरु इच्छा तक चाय और ब्रेड पकौड़े लंगर स्वरूप राहगीरों और मार्किट में खरीदारी करने आए लोगों में अटूट वितरित किये गए।

 इस दौरान मार्किट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन के सभी पदाधिकारी और उनके परिजन भी मौजूद रहे। जिनमें रविंदर सिंह बिल्ला, पंडित सुरेश चंद और ज्ञानी जी आदि शामिल थे।

     रबिन्द्र सिंह बिल्ला ने कहा कि दसवीं पातशाही श्री गुरू गोविंद सिंह जी महाराज के साहिबजादों की याद में आज चाय ब्रेड पकौड़े का लंगर लगाया गया है। रविन्द्र सिंह बिल्ला ने बताया कि औरंगजेब के शासनकाल में नवाज वजीर खान की कचहरी में जब गुरु गोबिंद सिंह के साहिबजादों बाबा फतेह सिंह व बाबा जोरावर सिंह तथा माता गुजरी ने मुस्लिम धर्म न अपना कर अपने हिन्दू धर्म के नाम पर शहीद होना कबूल किया था। उन्हीं की याद में आज चाय- ब्रेड पकोड़े का प्रसाद का लंगर लगाया गया है।

11th Annual Function Celebrations at Chitkara International School

Chitkara International School (CIS), Chandigarh, celebrated its 11th Annual Event with splendour, joy and excitement. Dr Vijay Namdeorao Zade, IAS, Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, UT Chandigarh and Ms Hargunjit Kaur, IAS, Special Secretary Finance presided over the Annual Day Celebrations as Chief Guests. Michelin Star Chef and cook-book author Vikas Khanna also graced virtually the event and addressed the audience through a live video message.

 

Dr Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, and Chairperson, Chitkara International School, Chandigarh and Panchkula, and Dr Niyati Chitkara, Director, Chitkara International School, Chandigarh and Panchkula, extended their warm welcome to the guests. The festivities of the Annual Event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries.

Theme of the 11th annual function was "Spice Box - Masale Swad Anusar", which was manifested through a large human-sized motorised spice making equipment against a magnificent backdrop of world map, showcasing the origins of different spices. The Event showcased a magnificent myriad of performances to showcase spices from around the world. The students were dressed up with beautiful attires and headgears that were specially designed to showcase the different variety of spices. Each student at the school is given the opportunity to take part in the event and explore and showcase their ability.

The event was organised upholding CIS's endeavour of imparting superlative education through effective art integration in consonance with the mission of the CBSE, NEP 2020, and the SDGs. The event proved to be an amazing opportunity for students to learn about different spices, team spirit during preparations, an outlet for artistic expression, and overcoming stage fright. The event also aided students in understanding the value of spices.

The school exhibited a beautiful array of spices from around the world comprising mixed spices, paprika, nutmeg, black pepper, cardamom, saffron, asafoetida, carom seeds, oregano, turmeric, etc., and their various aspects such as aroma, texture and benefits were elucidated by the students from kindergarten to Grade 12 in their own endearing and artistic ways. In line with the same and to further apprise the students with different spices a cart filled with spices was pushed around the school and showcased to the students.

In the 3 days celebrations, which started on 21st Dec 2022 and concluded today, Day 1 was filled with riveting performances of the avid Chitkarians from Chicklets to Grade 2. Day 2 of the merry celebrations witnessed performances by the students from Grades 3 to 6 and on Day 3 students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 displayed their energetic moves and serenaded the audience with their melodious voices. Witnessing their magnificent performances, parents and teachers in the audience felt a sense of pride and accomplishment in the children's achievements.

Chandigarh, Dec.21, 2022:-टेंट, मंडप, लाइटिंग और कैटरिंग इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े विभिन्न मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने के उद्देश्य से सम्मेलन व प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया। सेक्टर 35 के किसान भवन में चंडीगढ़ टेंट डीलर सोसाइटी (रजिस्टर्ड) द्वारा दो दिवसीय तीसरे कॉन्फ्रेंस एंड एग्जीबिशन का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। 21 और 22 दिसंबर को आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में चंडीगढ़ के नगर निगम मेयर सरबजीत कौर ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि इसका शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस के प्रेसिडेंट हरमोहिंदर सिंह लक्की सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम में टेंट, लाइटिंग और डेकोरेशन  से जुड़े सैंकड़ों लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया।

       इस अधिवेशन और प्रदर्शनी के दौरान टेंट, मंडप, लाइट और साउंड पर लगने वाले जी एस टी पर भी चर्चा की गई।

   नगर निगम मेयर सरबजीत कौर ने इस मौके कहा कि इस इवेंट में शामिल होकर इस इंडस्ट्री में आए नए नए साधन, बदलाव सहित विवाह शादी या अन्य किसी भी फंक्शन  के दौरान इस्तेमाल होने वाले संसाधन के बारे में जानने का मौका मिला। साथ ही इससे जुड़े विभिन्न मुद्दों और समस्याओं पर भी चर्चा हुई। इन व्यवसाय से जुड़े लोगों को पेश आ रही समस्याओं का स्थायी हल ढूंढे जाने का उन्होंने इस मौके सोसाइटी के पदाधिकारियों को आश्वासन दिया।

   एग्जीबिशन में देश भर से आए एग्जीबिटर्स ने डेकोरेटिव लाइटिंग, स्टाइलिश चेयर्स- सोफा, 3 डी कारपेट्स, डेकोरेटिव फ्लावर्स, स्टाइलिश और डेकोरेटिव झूमर, कूलर्स और एल ई डी लाइट्स इत्यादि के स्टाल्स लगाए हुए थे।

   चंडीगढ़ टेंट डीलर सोसाइटी के प्रेसिडेंट जसबीर सिंह बंटी ने बताया कि दो दिवसीय महाधिवेशन और प्रदर्शनी के दौरान इस इंडस्ट्री में आए बदलाव  सहित इस व्यवसाय में आ रही समस्याओं पर चर्चा की जा रही है। 

बंटी ने कहा कि टेंट व्यवसाय से जुड़े व्यापारियों को सामान्य रूप से अपना सामान रखने में दिक्कत आती है। वो लोग अपना सामान शहर से बाहर गांवों या कॉलोनियों में रख रहे हैं, यहां से इसे लाने ले जाने में बड़ी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है। उन्होंने नगर निगम मेयर से मांग की कि उन्हें अपना सामान कम्युनिटी सेंटरज में रखने की अनुमति दी जाए, साथ ही इस इंडस्ट्री से जुड़ी अन्य समस्याओं को भी हल करवाया जाए।

Since its inception, the Auto Expo has served as a launching pad for automobile companies seeking to establish a presence in India.

 

The theme of this 16th edition of the exhibition is 'Explore the World of Mobility', which coincides with the industry's vision of the most advanced futuristic green technology for a safer, cleaner, greener and connected tomorrow. It will provide visitors with an understanding of the changing and evolving mobility eco-system, offering newer and improved solutions that are future ready.

 

 Rajesh Menon, Director General of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), invited media persons to visit the expo and said that this year at Auto Expo, the industry aims to offer a new dimension and experience to visitors, allowing them to "Explore the Greener World of Indian Mobility". Auto Expo 2023 is providing a platform for companies to showcase advancement in new generation Electrified Technologies and would provide experience to consumers on how the Auto Industry has geared up for transformation of mobility that would be carbon benign, safe and connected.  There would also be a special focus on Ethanol.  There is already a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the upcoming auto show. Chandigarh Club to organise Countdown 2023 - the Club's Xmas and New Years Celebration

Chandigarh, Dec.20, 2022:-Chandigarh Club , located at Sec 1  is all set for its Xmas and New Years celebration starting from Dec 23. Famous Punjabi singer of 'Dil le gayi kudi Gujarat di fame'  Jasbir Jassi's  live performance on December 31st night will be the highlight of the celebrations planned for X-Mas and New Years. The club has also roped in famous Ghazal singer Talat Aziz who will be performing on December 28, 730 pm onwards.  

A R Khan, Club Secretary, Chandigarh Club said that we will kick start the celebrations by holding an event that will make visually challenged  children  happy. Chandigarh Club in association with National Association For The Blind (NAB) will  screen the movie '83' in an audio-described format for these children on December 23, 2022. We will also provide a platform to them to showcase their talent. 'Divine Eyes' , a musical group of visually impaired will  give a musical performance.

On December 24 a Christmas Kids Carnival from 11.30 am onwards and a X-Mas eve dance with a live performance by Swastik Band from 7.30 pm onwards will be held . On 25th December a X-Mas Bumper Tombola is planned from 1130 am onwards and in the evening  from 730 pm onwards Rudraksh Band will be performing live. The celebrations are packed with entertainment. On 26th December Mehfil-e-Qawwali 'Ruhdaari Qawwals by Gurmehar' is planned 730 pm onwards. There is a fun-filled comedy evening by Arun Gemini, Mahendra Ajnabi Balbir Kaur, Chetan Charchit,Commando Samod Singh and Deepak Gupta on 27th December, and a Sufi performance by Ali Brothers on 29th December. The celebration will see its climax on December 31st with a stellar performance by renowned Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi from 8 pm onwards.

The event includes a liquor and food festival from 23rd December to 31st December.There will be a lot to eat and drink for the members and guests. There will be special street food stalls, cocktail bars, flair bartending and much more, all this will add new flavour to the celebration.
